In this instance the native was born under KE-KE-ME... Ketu occupies 10th in sign of Sun who is joined in lagna by 11th lord Mercury. Also Ketu's nakshatra lord (VE) is conjunct Jupiter, significator of elder sibling/s. //Ishta devta is seen from 12th house from karakamsa in Navamsa which in your case has Moon.// Karakamsa is a Jaimini principle used in conjunction with Jaimini dasa system. The reasons why I asked you those questions was to affirm my findings. My husbands chart and your chart had small similarities. He also has his lagna lord placed in 3rd house ( he is the eldest in the family; that reading was right to a certain extent for you took responsibility at a young age and acted like an elder brother to your elder siblings.). Similarly, he also has 10th lord in lagna( it's said that people with their 10th lord in 1st or 2nd houses would prefer to own an independent business rather than working under someone;that had been pretty much true in my hubby's case). The reason I asked you about problems with younger siblings is that I found the dispositor of third lord in debility in 6th house. But you have problems with your elder siblings which is due to mercury(11th lord) being combust. If I am right, a blend of ego, miscommunication and your hesitation to deal with them could be the reason. Communication errors is also the reason why you might get into a problem with a senior colleague. Be careful with that then things will be better.Do note that you were born under vyatipat yoga, so it will be highly beneficial if you pray to your Ishta devta to seek his blessings to lessen the problems.Ishta devta is seen from 12th house from karakamsa in Navamsa which in your case has Moon. So pray to Lord krishna for his blessings. May god bless you. Regards, manasa.
Guest guest
Dear Chandra - Ravi Kumar (I'm not sure who I'm talking to here?) Unfortunately I have only a few minutes to spare as I have an appointment to keep and am already running late. For now I just want to confirm your chart... Scorpio lagna holding Sun and Mercury whilst Moon and Saturn occupy 6th, is this correct? Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com ___ - " scrchandra " <scrchandra <jyotish-vidya > Monday, April 28, 2008 8:34 PM Re: debilitated saturn conjoining moon Dear Mrs. Wendy, Is it possible to know when would I see light at the end of the tunnel? I re-established myself when a problem like this surfaced in 1998 (Sun MD and Jup AD coupled with Janma Saturn and Janma Jup i.e. As per Gochara, both Jup and Sat were in Aries during 1998, IIRC). Basically people (ab)use you when you get into a problem like this and try to come out :-) It has happened again... How long is this going to stretch. Now I have a family with 2 kids to raise. Could it be possible to predict when things would turn better for me? From April 29,2008, Moon MD-Merc AD starts. Merc is exalted in D-9 as well as D-10. Would it be of any use? In D-10 again, Sun is in Leo. (Iam seriously not sure if these concepts are parasara or Jaimini and you can consider me unbaked and forgive me please :-)) Moon is in Ashwini(KETU) star and Mercury is in Anuradha(Saturn). Is it again an Moon-saturn combo? After that its Moon-ketu period And Ketu is in Venus' star. All the good things happened to me only in Venus MD. After that its a drought. One extra point is Gochara : Jupiter in Sagitarius - (2nd from Lagna) and 9th from Rashi. Would this help? This has not helped so far. Thank you in advance for your time and thoughts. Thank you, Ravikumar
Guest guest
Dear Ravikumar, //Is it possible to know when would I see light at the end of the tunnel? I re-established myself when a problem like this surfaced in 1998 (Sun MD and Jup AD coupled with Janma Saturn and Janma Jup i.e. As per Gochara, both Jup and Sat were in Aries during 1998, IIRC).// Lagna lord Mars exalted in 3rd denotes a strong and courageous will-power. Energy, ambition, motivation and force of character are keywords for Mars. Likewise, 3rd governs such things as strength, courage, stamina and so forth. The strength of lagna lord here gives you the natural ability to press on in spite of difficulties...you're not one to give up easily. //Basically people (ab)use you when you get into a problem like this and try to come out :-) It has happened again...// Lagna lord Mars aspects both 6th house of daily work (co-workers etc) and 10th house of status/occupation. As well as denoting courage/ambition etc., Mars is also responsible for conflicts/aggression. Lagna lord's dispositor Saturn badly placed (debilitated and in retrograde motion) in 6th house of enemies/obstacles does open one up to those capable of doing harm (enemies). Saturn conjuncts Moon and both occupy nakshatra of Ketu who is placed in 10th house, indicating ups and downs in status/occupation. Ketu denotes intermittent/unexpected difficulties in relation to occupation. An interesting point in this (SA/MO) conjunction is the connection with 4th house. Saturn is 4th lord; Moon is 4th karaka... My own daughter-in-law has the very same feature in her chart... Scorpio rising with SA/MO in 6th with nakshatra lord KE in 10th...she too is undergoing dasa of Moon. In general terms a man's status is linked to his occupation, for a woman it's linked more to her spouse. Not surprisingly she and my son were recently separated for some time. For those wishing to comment further on the similarities in these two charts I give Lesa's details below. Guest guest
Dear Chann, //Is Saturn conjoining Moon an indicator of a lack of mental peace? Is it more pronounce if this planetary position is in Navamsa? Please comment.// Yes, Saturn joining/aspecting Moon can give rise to lack of mental peace (depression). The influence of Mars adds mental conflict (anger)... For you, Saturn aspects...Mars conjuncts. In navamsha both join in sign of Mars along with Mercury. Guest guest
Dear Ravikumar, Yes, the similarities, of course, are due to the SA/MO conjunction with nakshatra lord Ketu in 10th. There are also marked differences. For instance, in her chart, 10th lord Sun (significator of father) is debilitated in 12th and aspected by 3rd lord Saturn. Her father committed suicide during Sun dasa. As we know 3rd shows death of parents etc.. I was out during the past week end(a long week end in India) and was offline. Your daughter-in-law's horoscope does seem to be similar. She is also running similar dasa periods. Thanks again, Ravikumar
Guest guest
PS: As we know, the Nodes are indicators of unnatural death... I should point out the involvement of the Nodes in this event i.e., 10th lord Sun, in nakshatra of Rahu, disposits Ketu in 10th whilst 3rd Lord Saturn, in nakshatra of Ketu, disposits Rahu. I'm also not so sure of the timing...could have been during dasa of 12th lord Venus (dispositor of Sun).
