From the standpoint of medicine, what would be the significantors of

deep anesthesia ( loss of consciousness to allow surgery). Also, what

would signify high blood pressure?

 

Finally, does anyone know of a good Windows based software program

containing the Parashara sutras in an English translation?

Dear Thomas,

 

Saturn is karaka for both 8th (surgery) and 12th (altered states of

consciousness). So Saturn, along with the lords of these houses would be

indicators. Blood pressure (arteries, veins) are governed by Sun.

A member (who wishes to remain anonymous?) has just sent me the following

query. I decided to respond on-list as it ties in with your recent query.

why is it so ? Due to Exalted Mars and very weak Mercury or any other

reason and any remedy if suggested.///

 

This is not so difficult to see (Astrologically). Sun, significator of blood

pressure, is in sign of great enemy in Aquarius whilst dispositor Saturn is

in retrograde motion in lagna...Saturn also disposits lagnesh Mercury (in

enemy' sign) and F/M Mars (dispositor of Rahu). Note; both Sun and his

dispositor (Saturn) occupy nakshatra of Rahu debilitated in 6th (according

to Parasara Rahu is debilitated in Scorpio).

 

PS: Native is currently running P/D of Mercury in Moon antardasa. Note;

transit Sun aspecting Moon from Aries.
