Guest guest Posted October 23, 2007 Report Share Posted October 23, 2007 Dear A N, Sometime back, someone on this list pointed out that lot of people born around 1973-74 have delayed marriages. At that time, no one concluded as to why this is happening. The case you have brought up also falls in this category. I have been thinking about the reasons for the same and this is what I could think of is Jupiter being debilitated during this time frame. Of course, this alone can not cause delays in marriages. This is one adverse factor and in some charts, there could be added adverse factors causing the delays. In the chart that you have put up, I observe the following: 1. Jupiter debilitated 2. Jupiter and Venus are combust 3. Venus is retrograde 4. 7L Mercury is in the 12th 5. Venus is in the 6th in Navamsha There are so many unfavourbale factors in the chart wrt to marriage. As far as the timing of marriage is concerned, I feel that Mars-Jup period is favourable. Note that 7th lord Mercury and Karaka Jupiter are both in the nakshatra of Mars. One thing I have found out from experience is that the dasas/anthardasas of the planets which can per se give marriage, say by being assocaited with 2nd or 7th houses/Lords will refrain from doing so if they are posited in either 7th or 12th of UL. Thus, the native will do well in wearing a coral and fasting on tuesdays. He should break the fast in the dusk after feeding rice flour to ants. But, the question is what is the threshold level of favourable factors required to cross over the hurdle? If the first period provides enough push things can move in that period itself. Otherwise, the second one is definitely more favourbale. Actually, it is very difficult to come to a conclusion (specially with so many unfavourbale factors) on what is the threshold level of the push required for this chart.
