Dear Neena and All,

 

As we know, this is an extremely common yoga as Mercury is more often

than not found to be combust. However, in spite of this, we know that the

world is not full of intellectual giants...we have to surely ask

ourselves why? The answer lies (obviously) in the houses involved,

position and strength of dispositor etc, etc..

 

Ernst Wilhelm in " Core Yogas " says:

If Mercury is combust this yoga will still indicate skill, intelligence,

etc., however, the results of a combust planet’s avastha (Kopa- angry)

will cause frustration to the house these planets fall in

as well as to the houses that Mercury rules.
