General but effective remedy/precaution for all ...

 

Never keep the broom or the sweep up side i.e. the brush or bristles

pointing upwards and handle down. Either the broom should lie on the

floor or the bristles be down, touching the floor with the handle

pointing up.

 

This has been tested many times and its efficacy known. As usual, the

data is not there for people to examine. Try yourself.

Could you tell e please why is this a precaution? I have my brushes with the heads up fixed to the wall.
