Guest guest
Dear Balaji interesting post. I have reasonable combination but still struggling to grasp jyotish. My 9th lord is in mercury in 5th with 2nd lord mars. 9th house has dristi of jupiter. though these planets also have aspect of Sani which is probably making it slow. If you have time I will welcome reading and advise thanks kamal - Balaji Narasimhan jyotish-vidya Monday, January 07, 2008 9:38 AM Manoj ji--what makes a good Vedic Astrologer? Manoj ji, Two things are important for a Vedic Astrologer--a strong 2nd house [vak siddhi] and a strong 9th house [intuition]. In your chart, as Wendy ji has pointed out, neecha 9th lord Sani may mean that you may have to struggle to master Jyotish--but, since Sani rules perseverence, I'm sure that, if you keep at it, you will gain some knowledge. This reminds me of one of Lord Alfred Tennyson's Ulysses: Though much is taken, much abides; and though We are not now that strength which in old days Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts, Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. Best of luck! :-) ~~~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan Author & Editor http://www.balaji.ind.in/ ~~~~~~~~~ ________ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
