Saturn Return and Karmic cleansing

Dear pdk,

 

Thanks for your input on my query.You spoke of the transit of saturn

through your Ascendant and the impact it created. I was referring to

transit of saturn through the same house as it is in your natal

chart.It is said it occurs every 27-30 years. Your first saturn

return had been during 1958 to 1961 period and second return in the

time period 1988 to 1991. Do you recollect any significant changes in

and around this period?

Hi Vic,

 

Saturn return is different from Sade sati that you have wrote

about. I don't know the equivalent term for saturn return in vedic

astrology. I believed someone out here was gonna point it out.

As we know saturn spends 2.5 years in every sign. Say if some one has

saturn in lagna.It takes about 29.5 years for it to transit through

the same position once again. Now that is saturn return which is

marked by significant changes in one's life. It's usually told of as a

range between 27-30 years. I myself is going through such a period

now. Since I got my saturn in virgo and 2nd house, the changes are

w.r.t that. A major positive change so far had been my first mystic

experience with the opening of crown chakra this year. Since virgo is

the sign of purification, the awakening helped me cleanse my mind and

changed my outlook on life. Other than that I am learning to speak

up for myself, not to shy away from attention and be self- reliant. On

the negative side, I am having breaks in my education which cost with

me a long stay at home. But since I have realized my shortcomings, I

am expecting a positive outcome in that too sometime soon. I have a

strong urge to learn and I hope Saturn would bless me with it before

saturn return ends ('coz saturn is my duplicate yogi planet too).

Guess this could be called as midlife crisis.
