Guest guest
Nowadays its become a habit to create uproars or gain momentary recognitions , and one torches big men or people of repute or the famous ones to prove himself smarter and very wise. Those who find any injsutice in any Shastras, should not try to then open these shastras, neither refer to them, neither gain fame from them, neither use them for a living, and just shut up. Trying to find fault or injustices without giving thought for retrospection about the times and circumstances when these shastras were written, one should not make comments unnecessarily and show that the writers were wrong or unjustified. Its like eating food from a plate and then making hole in that same plate. Instead of keeping a biased and negative approach and unnecessary uncalled favourutism towards the fairer sex, if one looks and studies with a positive approach, one would know that the rishis form the inner Circle of Gods advisors , and certainly they knew what they were writing. It is our mind of today which is narrowed, trying to give credence to the soft species, because of shortcomings in our own self, and not because of any unlawful dispense of justice by the Rishis, that we see the differences shown towards both the sexes in the jyotish Shastras. Its high time that we start feeling sorry for ourselves rather than for the luminaries like Sitaji and the likes, for if its the men who have caused sufferings towards them, then we belong to the same species. We have to remove first lust from within us, then we should talk about cleansing our ancestors and their sermons (Jyotish or whatever). Lets bother about ourselves rather than create controversies about nothing just because we have spare time on hand. We are going to become ancestors soon, just a matter of time, just get ready to be remembered as good ones. Bhaskar.
