Dear Bhaskar,

 

As you may be well aware, a transit can't give any result on its

own. A transit of a particular moment, delivers the result of a

promise available in a basic chart, at the time decided by the

Dashas. Hence transit is subservient to Dashas.

 

A postman cannot deliver a parcel contains a valuable present at your

doorsteps on his own to you. There should be a person for you to

send at the first place (basic promise and yogas in a

chart). A parcel should be sent by somebody who cares to send it to

you when you are in need of it, at the right time. (dasha sequence

and your age) If the postman is sincere he would deliver it in right

time, in right shape the way it was sent and without any damage to

the contents of the parcel. If he is of mischievous nature he can

throw it at your door steps in a bad shape and resulting in damages

to the contents. (Benefic and adverse transits of a benefic and a

malefic planet). This is my personal understanding of transit

principles.

 

As per the general principles of transits, your lagna is having 31

points. A planet when transits there, it is supposed to give good

result, considering the leap or the quantitative jump. (17 to 31).

 

So far as the contribution of a lone point in Saturn's BAV, Saturn's

BAV is used for certain specific purposes. But also remember the

basic fact that this Rasi has to be transited by other planets

too. Saturn is to visit the 8 " Kakshyas " of this Rasi and

different planets gave benefic bindus there. Further, Mars is

strong with 5 benefic bindus in Leo. He is yogakaraka for you. In

Lagna there two malefics without benefic aspect, is not desirable in

the area of health, this you are aware as an astrologer yourself.

 

You are going to enjoy the dasha of Rahu. Of course Rahu would

behave like Saturn to some extent but even that rule has its own

limitations.
