Guest guest
Dear Sir: Moon placed in the 12th is not universally detrimental IMO. For example, the Moon does very well in the twelfth house when in its own sign Cancer, given that it is not otherwise afflicted or weak on account of other factors. In the chart data provided by you, the Moon is weak because it is in a dusthana house, in last crescent before New Moon, and its dispositer, Mercury, is extremely weak in old age. What helps the Moon in this chart immensely is the exact 7th glance by weak Jupiter from the 6th house. I wouldn't consider the Moon strong in this instance, but the aspect from Jupiter makes up for a lot of weakness in this Moon IMO. This in turn, helps Saturn in the tenth work much better as yogakaraka for this Libra native. The real problem in this chart, is the extremely weak and afflicted Lagna Lord, Venus, in the 11th house and the debilitated Sun, which shows weak health, possible rheumatism and renal diseases, lack of affluence/income, trouble to the father, lack of charm and affability. Anyway, just my take on things. Guest guest
hello, certain features in the chart you presented needs to be mentioned. in shadbala terms you will find malefics are the strongest in the order of mars, saturn, sun, moon, mercury, Jupiter and Venus. The lagna lord is the weakest in shadbala with Rahu in lagna. Venus and the 11th lord sun are in mutual exchange of signs. 1st and 11th exchange is generally considered good, but in this case it is water down by the fact that venus and sun are not friends. Lets take the condition of moon. Its in krishnapaksha only 21 degrees away from the sun and therefore weak, Its infulenced by the 12th lord mercury, Vargottama, and who is placed at the edge of the 12th house. Though there is a gajkesari yoga present, it is along the 6th 12th axis and jupiter is the 3rd and 6th lord a functional malefic. Over and above that you will find that both Mars (functional and natural malefic) and Saturn aspect the combination of Mercury and Mars. Generally Moon and Mercury combinations indicate some degree of phobias. The preponderance of malefic influences and its strength and that too the physcological 12th house makes us wonder at the mental pressures that the native is undergoing. You will also notice that there are no benefics in the four kendras, futher weakening the chart. regards arun jyotish-vidya , " sbmaheta " <sbmaheta wrote: > > I am looking at a chart that has Mercury and Moon in 12th house? > How malefic is this combination? Guest guest
Dear, Talking in common mans language, as to what would happen with this Moon, is what we require actually, what results it would give in this chart is what is required actually. Every Planet gives dual results. Moon in this case - Negative results- Will remove native from current business or occupation when its antardasha enters (Aug 2011).Or send him away from present place. Create troubles in negotiations of marriage (If not married), or if married then create hurdles in smooth relationships with spouse. Positive results- Will create interests in Investment in Properties. May give unearned income suddenly. May take up new job/Profession as advisor Can create income by technical activity. May give marriage after initial difficulties surmounted. regards, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , " sbmaheta " <sbmaheta wrote: > > I am looking at a chart that has Mercury and Moon in 12th house? > How malefic is this combination? Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar, ///Talking in common mans language, as to what would happen with this Moon, is what we require actually, what results it would give in this chart is what is required actually./// The presumption here is that we are conversing with fellow astrologers (or astrology students) and it's appropriate to explain (as did Arun) the astrological reasoning behind our comments for the benefit of those wishing to broaden their knowledge. Talking in common language, as you put it, is appropriate only if an astrologer is giving a reading for one not versed in astrology. I do hope that, in time, members will learn the difference between a discussion and a reading... Guest guest
Dear Mrs.Wendy, Right.I agree with you. I had decided last night itself not to give any free readings to anyone, due to My Venus placed in 9th house, which calls for no Free assistance to anyone (As per Lal Kitab- will have to check implications though before making this strict). I dont know why I replied this mail, as soon as I glanced upon this. I seem to be falling in trouble more, whenever I give readings voluntarily. Probably today would be my last time I would be giving a reading without considerations. I have noticed I have annoyed you last few times I have written here on this Forum. I will make it a point not to do this any further. The only reason why I do not support my readings at times, with explanations, here, is because I use Bhava Chalit extensively, and thinking that this may not be in favour here, I resorted not to give the Logic, but it seems instead of staying away from trouble, I have contributed more towards it. // Will remove native from current business > or occupation when its antardasha enters > (Aug 2011).Or send him away from present > place. When the 10th and 12th houses significations are placed together, the above is bound to happen. //Create troubles in negotiations of marriage > (If not married), or if married then create > hurdles in smooth relationships with spouse. The above results may accrue on combination of the lords of 2nd, 7th and 8th House significations. Thank you for the patience, respectfully, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , " Wendy Vasicek " <jyotish wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar, > > ///Talking in common mans language, as to what would > happen with this Moon, is what we require actually, > what results it would give in this chart is > what is required actually./// > > The presumption here is that we are conversing with fellow astrologers (or > astrology students) and it's appropriate to explain (as did Arun) the > astrological reasoning behind our comments for the benefit of those wishing > to broaden their knowledge. > Talking in common language, as you put it, is appropriate only if an > astrologer is giving a reading for one not versed in astrology. > > I do hope that, in time, members will learn the difference between a > discussion and a reading... > > Best Wishes, > Mrs. Wendy > http://JyotishVidya.com > jyotish-vidya > ___ > > > - > " Bhaskar " <bhaskar_jyotish > <jyotish-vidya > > Sunday, September 09, 2007 1:11 PM > Re: Malefics in 12th house > > > Dear, > > Talking in common mans language, as to what would > happen with this Moon, is what we require actually, > what results it would give in this chart is > what is required actually. > > Every Planet gives dual results. > > Moon in this case - > > Negative results- > Will remove native from current business > or occupation when its antardasha enters > (Aug 2011).Or send him away from present > place. > Create troubles in negotiations of marriage > (If not married), or if married then create > hurdles in smooth relationships with spouse. > > Positive results- > Will create interests in Investment in > Properties. > May give unearned income suddenly. > May take up new job/Profession as advisor > Can create income by technical activity. > May give marriage after initial difficulties > surmounted. > > regards, > Bhaskar. >
Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar, I'm really not singling you out and you're certainly not in any trouble at all! The main problem is that people (generally) tend to follow the lead of those they consider might have some authority. Although I do understand perfectly that everyone has their own way of responding to queries, it's important to lead by example and we cannot escape the fact that many do choose to follow your example. Such a profile carries with it a certain level of responsibility, don't you agree? Guest guest
Dear Mrs.Wendy, Yes I agree and do understand.
