Higher and Lower effects of Moksha karma

Dear Group,

 

I was catching up on emails, reading through " Retrograde Jupiter and

Alcoholism " and I got to Balji Narasimhan prabhu's post mentioning the

higher and lower energies of the 12th house, which inspired by to submit

my own realizations on this.

 

" Moksha " as a horoscopic force is an energy which can be translated as

" liberation " . But liberation has two faces. The light face is one in

which the energy driving us to seek liberation finds it's fruition in a

yogic or spiritually influenced renunciation of non-essential material

things in a quest for spiritual enlightenment. The dark face *of the

same energy* is one in which the quest for liberation finds it's

fruition in sleep, intoxication, fantasy, daydreaming, isolation and

suicide.

 

Thus energies connected with forces like Saturn, Ketu... Pices,

Scorpio... 12th House and 8th House can lead an individual down either

path - no! actually they *usually* lead an individual down *both* paths,

until one eventually wins out over the other.

 

In a birth chart, we should note the type of benefic and malefic

influences on the aforementioned main players in liberation - and

understand the natives strongest natural inclinations accordingly.
