Guest guest
Dear Vic and All, Apologies for not contributing much the last day or two. My attention has been very much on my last surviving sister (given just a few months to live)... She was terribly upset when the doctors told her it was pointless to continue with the Chemo therapy; But, thank God, she seems to be in much better spirits now. Surrender to the will of God, as revealed through jyotish, can be difficult when death is staring us in the face...no-one really wants to surrender their life...even saints can find this difficult. Vic... In your wife's chart, lagna lord (signifying one's general welfare, physical self, place of birth etc) also owns 4th (signifying one's home, home country etc) is, along with karaka for 1st, conjunct 12th lord Venus in 3rd (12th from 4th). Does this not suggest that your wife may move far from both her place of birth (1st) and her home country (4th). Also note Moon in 10th (living in foreign lands) whilst 10th lord's dispositor (Mars) occupies 12th in nakshatra of Moon etc, etc.. Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com ___ - " Vic D " <vicdicara " Jyotish Vidya " <jyotish-vidya > Friday, May 30, 2008 9:46 AM International Travel I am looking at a chart with Mars and Ketu in the 12th house. The sign of the 12th is Taurus. There are no aspects coming to this house. this is the chart... www.weare108.com/dl/Yuni.gif Taurus is a fixed sign associated with the South, so I would be inclined to predict a lack of international travel. However I can cheat because the Native is my wife. She's moved from Croatia to Germany to New England, USA to Southern Californa. How can one reconcile this!? Is it that the malefic in the 12th have some effect countering the fixed nature of Taurus? Does the ruler of Taurus, Venus, being retrograde and combust in the 3rd house have some countering impact? Knowing the native as I do, I would expect to see a chara / westward sign in the 12th... Libra. I know Mrs. Wendy gets Sagittarius rising in her calculation of the Navamsha of this chart, but I get Scorpio rising using an online calculator and using Jagannath Hora software as well. With Scorpio rising suddenly we do have Libra in the 12th. The purpose of her more significant international westward migrations was her quest for a suitable husband and the final leg of her travels was due to marriage. Does this make sense? I am just starting to get the hang of " rotating " houses and looking at " 12th from 4th " etc. So this is very helpful. Thanks, Vic

I would be grateful if members can check this chart so I can decide whether or not I have a glitch in my software. Birth Data: 26 Aug 1975 (00:55) Trogir, Croatia //The purpose of her more significant international westward migrations was her quest for a suitable husband and the final leg of her travels was due to marriage.// This can be seen clearly in rashi with 7th/10th lord's dispositor in 12th in nakshatra of Moon. We can also tell from this placement that, not only would her spouse be a foreigner (in a foreign land), but that he would be deeply inclined towards moksha (hidden/secretive knowledge, self-realisation etc).. How do we see this? Note, both 7th lord and 7th karaka occupy nakshatra of MokshaKaraka Ketu whilst 7th lord's dispositor is accompanied by Ketu in 12th MokshaBhava... In Navamsha: Venus occupies sign of Moon who (in Rashi), dispositing 9th lord Saturn, sits in 10th house... 10th signifies 'living in foreign lands' Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com ___ - " Vic D " <vicdicara " Jyotish Vidya " <jyotish-vidya > Friday, May 30, 2008 9:46 AM International Travel I am looking at a chart with Mars and Ketu in the 12th house. Guest guest
Dear Wendy, I get Pisces navamsha as well. I suspect Vic is using DST which is incorrect. JHora also assigns DST for that date. I checked from other sources and DST is not applicable.
