Astama Sani

What could be done to reduce the effects of Astama Sani? Please let

me know.

Dear Member:

 

Ashtama Sani period can get a person caught in the wrong foot; but

if a person never steps out with the wrong foot, then where is the

harm? i.e. if you are highly ethical in all your dealings during

ashtama sani, you need not fear anything though the going might be

slightly tough otherwise.

 

The effects of Ashtama sani can be reduced by chanting " Hanumaan

Chaalisaa " with devotion 8 times on Saturdays and once every day.

The activities of rivals that might be troublesome during ashtama

sani can be neutralized by chanting " Hanumaan Laangoolastra

sthotram " on Thursday evenings.

 

Chanting the following sthothra " Om Kaarkotakasya naagasaya

dhamayandyaa nalasya cha

Ruthubharnascha raajarishe keertanam kali naashanam " thrice every

day is a good remedy for all adverse saturn transits (including sade

sathi).
