Follow up to thread on debilitated Saturn

Dear Bhagavathi,

 

A retrograde planet is supposed to confer more power than the

normally moving planet. As per Kalidasa in his

book " UttaraKalamitra " , a retrograde planet in debilitaion loses its

negativity and behaves like an exalted planet.

 

However, as far as retrograde Saturn in Taurus is concerned I have

seen a few very prosperous people with this combination.

 

On another thread on Saturn in debilitation in 7th house, I would

like to state that Saturn is positionally strong in 7th house

(digbalee). But whether it will delay the marriage or not can only

be seen as a composite chart with compelte details as to the other

planets' positions.
