Guest guest
Dear Thomas, There are different approaches to the example you have given taken by various astrologers. a) The conjunction may be accepted as so, if the orbs between them is of 8 degrees. b) Some astrologers also accept conjunction, if this orb is only of 4 degrees. c) Conjunction may be taken irrespective of the difference between the 2 Planets, if they are in same sign, as in the Traditional system. d) If 2 Planets are in different signs but but the degrees of difference between them is bewteen 1-8 degrees, yet some astrologers take that as conjunction, because actually there are no demarcations lines made in the sky., is their underlying logic. Now what is right above, may be matter of speculation, but as long as the astrologer is able to give the right results and predictions and inputs to the querist, all this does not matter. regards, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , " talljun2 " <talljun2 wrote: > > Good day and best wishes to all. > > I have a very basic question, but at the same time, a very important > one. Guest guest
Dear Mrs. Wendy, I am glad and happy and thank You for keeping the Traditional Vedic system and its dictums on the top. Personally I agree that should be, for these dictums have never failed, though the application may be wrong at times on part of the astrologers, but these dictums cannot be beaten any day and age, by the weathers and storms which come by and leave. respectfully, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , " Wendy Vasicek " <jyotish wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar, > > ///c) Conjunction may be taken irrespective of the difference > between the 2 Planets, if they are in same sign, as > in the Traditional system./// > > Yes indeed, this is correct according to the dictums of Vedic astrology... > And, of course, it's the method most traditional astrologers adhere to :-) > > In Western astrology, and some schools that have adopted certain Western > principles, conjunctions are limited to planets within a close range of > around 8-10 degrees.(irrespective of the sign they occupy) > > Best Wishes, > Mrs. Wendy > http://JyotishVidya.com > jyotish-vidya > ___ > > > - > " Bhaskar " <bhaskar_jyotish > <jyotish-vidya > > Friday, June 08, 2007 10:51 PM > Re: a very basic question > > > Dear Thomas, > > There are different approaches to the example you have given > taken by various astrologers. > > a) The conjunction may be accepted as so, if the orbs > between them is of 8 degrees. > b) Some astrologers also accept conjunction, if this > orb is only of 4 degrees. > c) Conjunction may be taken irrespective of the difference > between the 2 Planets, if they are in same sign, as > in the Traditional system. > d) If 2 Planets are in different signs but but the > degrees of difference between them is bewteen > 1-8 degrees, yet some astrologers take > that as conjunction, because actually > there are no demarcations lines made in the sky., > is their underlying logic. > > Now what is right above, may be matter of speculation, > but as long as the astrologer is able to give the right > results and predictions and inputs > to the querist, all this does not matter. > > regards, > Bhaskar. > > > > jyotish-vidya , " talljun2 " <talljun2@> wrote: > > > > Good day and best wishes to all. > > > > I have a very basic question, but at the same time, a very important > > one.
