Guest guest
Hi Wendy Ji As you know I am new to your group and im slowly going through your old forum messages to the most recent. This is a very interesting topic - as my knoweldge of lal kitab governs sun is represented by monkey ketu by dogs mercury by goats venus by cow rahu by elephant saturn by snake, fish When someone has an afflicted planet it is recommended to do 'seva' of that planets representations. For example, feeding gur which is an object of sun to monkeys (i.e feeding sun to sun) will calm down its malefic effects if sun is badly placed in the native chart. This is why if a couple are childless and have badly placed ketu's it is commonly recommended in lal kitab and vedic astrology for the couple to raise a black and white dog which is a representation of ketu. By doing this your are appeasing ketu - lord of children. Interestingly one time a friend of mine whos an excellent lal kitab astrologer came across a chart with a person who had a badly afflicted saturn. It was completely combust and so was 10th lord - yet this persons career was excellent - major promotions upon promotions. He decided to dwell further into the life style of the native - he found the native had lots and lots of aquariums. He used to daily feed his fish, clean them. In addition his hobby was to save and preserve sea life creatures. Without knowing this person had managed to save himself from a disastorous career life just by performing seva for the dev in question. This concludes that the way u lead ur life is just as important as yor birth chart. Another uncle of mine who is a keen astrologer recorded the time of birth of his son and also a baby born in the hospital during the same time. They live on the same road. Now my uncles family is a pure vegetarian, they do not drink or eat fish (any of these makes saturn malefic). His neighbours son however does all of these things. Both of them entered the same profession of accounts. Whilst my uncles son has had an excellent career now - his neighbours son has badly suffered (despite having a better education!). I hope this says to all of you in a respectful manner that charts - though they may control a large part of our destiny - the way we lead our lives is just as, if not more important.
