Guest guest
Dear Wendy, I would like to definitely share what I learn. I am in the process of testing my method for the various charts that I come across day to day. Once I get the confidence that the method is fully reliable, I will definitely share it with others. Sharing of knowledge is, after all, the aim of this group. Before going on to the chart, I would like to address the question that you have raised - What is the duty of the astrologer? I share my opinion here: In this particular case, your friend approached you with a specific query about his father knowing very well that his father was not well. If the astrological factors strongly point to the demise of the father, I would have given clear indications about the same. If I had seen this indication clearly much before when the friend approached for property issue itself, I would have just given a hint about the health of the father and would have asked the friend to take special care of the father during that period and would not have given a clear indication about the demise. I would like to see this chart from a slightly different perspective and see if father's death can be explained. I have my own method of fine tuning birth time when we know that birth time is recorded and the error could be only a few minutes. Based on that, I get the rectified birth time for this native as 14:10:11, and I use Lahiri Ayanamsha. Also, I use 9th for father as well. Since the birth time is rectified, I would like to go deeper into dasha bhukti. For the given date of 6-May-2007, the native has a dsha-bhukti as follows: Mer-Sat-Ven-Mer-Mer-Sat It is interesting to note that only three planets are involved - Mercury, Satrun and Venus. Me is 9L and 12L occupies 10H. Saturn is yogakaraka 4L and 5L and occupies 2H. There is a nakshatra parivartana between Satrun and Mercury. Now, Saturn is maraka for father (Mer). Saturn occupies Mer constellation and aspects Venus in Rasi. Hence, once can clearly say that Satrun is driving the event on that day. Now, we should take a look at the transits and see what Saturn is doing: - Tr. Sat again occupies the constellation of Mercury - Tr. Sat transits natal Mercury and Tr. Sun - Tr. Sat aspects Tr. Mercury It is clear that Saturn has a multi-pronged attack on Mercury on that day. And, it is interesting to note that Tr. Mercury occupies the constellation of Venus who is the PD lord. Tr. Mercury is combust. Hence, a weak Mercury has succumbed to the multi-pronged attack of Saturn. Regards, Krishna
