Guest guest
Correction: ///Proving the birth data is correct,/// That, of course, should read; *Providing the birth data is correct,* _________ Dear Shri, Manasa and All, In keeping with the group's mission to discuss the finer points of jyotish, let's take a look at the astrological influences at the time... Proving the birth data is correct, Manasa was running dasa of RA-ME-RA-SA. Natal Rahu occupies lagna in nakshatra of Ketu whilst dispositor Sun (also in Ketu's nakshatra) occupies 5th house of spiritual (meditation) techniques etc.. Manasa Wrote: ///I strongly believe that there is an astrological connection to the whole incident. Transiting jupiter in Sagittarius has finally activated the parivarthana between my first lord and fifth lord; which is also shared by 9th lord & rahu. As to me this is definitely a mahaparivarthana. In the days to come I hope I would change further for good./// Yes, indeed! The exchange between 1st/5th lords (SU/JU) has lent this quality to Rahu who was, at the time, transiting Aquarius in nakshatra of 4th lord Mars whilst dispositor Saturn and MokshaKaraka Ketu were transiting lagna in Ketu's own nakshatra...note (also) the mutual aspect between transit MA/JU (4th/5th lords)... If I could just regress to the conversation I had with Balaji recently regarding the significance of moksha bhavas (4, 9, 12) being 12th from the dharmasthanas. 12th, as we know, is the house of 'Loss'...indicating, not just loss of wealth (expenditure), but all kinds of loss, including loss of boundaries i.e., geographical boundaries (travel to far-off places) and social boundaries (hence described as a house of sin) as well as boundaries of empirical ego, boundaries of consciousness etc.. (hence it's connection with moksha)... If the chart indicates it, a native engaged in some spiritual/meditation practice may experience deeper states of consciousness more spontaneously due to influence of moksha lord's assistance during meditation practice. In my own chart, 4th moksha lord Mars (12th from 5th) occupying 5th has been a tremendous boon in regards to unbounded awareness during meditation...the Self witnessing itself witnessing itself :-))) Manasa is absolutely correct when she says; ///I strongly believe that there is an astrological connection to the whole incident./// I hope I've put this forward with sufficient clarity...still a little foggy, I'm afraid, after a week of being laid up with a virus :-( Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___
