Guest guest
Dear Wendy, //Death comes to us all...when and how is determined the day we're born.// Very true indeed! I would like to slightly modify the same - our karma picks our time of birth based on when and how we should die (according to our prarabdha). For instance in HoraSara Ch.26 (page319 for those who have a copy) it states that; " Death by hanging is indicated, if Surya is in Yuvati Bhava along with Rahu, or Ketu, while Sukr is in Randhr Bhava. " There are other combinations of course...the above is just one example to show that the mode of death is predetermined. For any further discussion to take place we would need to consult the native's horoscope. Death comes to us all...when and how is determined the day we're born. Guest guest
Dear Krishna, //our karma picks our time of birth based on when and how we should die (according to our prarabdha).// If my memory serves me we had a lengthy discussion on karma not so long ago :-) The following information might be of some interest to members... SANCHITA Karma: The store of Karmic debts accumulated from previous births. PRARABDHA Karma: That part of one's Sanchita Karma which must be worked out in the present life. Because the law of Karma implies determinism in human activities, Prarabdha is often translated as destiny. AGAMI Karma: New Karma accumulated in the present lifetime which is carried forward into future lives.
