Guest guest
Dear Sorabh, There is a group that focuses primarily on the ashtakavarga method of prediction. Here is the link to the group if you would like to learn more: Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - " mrsorabhsharma " <mrsorabhsharma <jyotish-vidya > Sunday, December 09, 2007 8:46 AM Marriage Date Approaches Dear Members I present the following data: 24-dec-1953 14.40pm Kampala, Uganda Lagna should be Aries I have been using a number of different approaches to try and guess the marriage date for the native - but failed everytime until i used the ashtakvarga approach which accurately pinpointed not only the marriage date of the native but also death of father and mother. I am sure however that i have been going wrong in my analysis when i was trying to work out likely marriage dates using the more commonly used vimshottari or jaimini dasha - can anyone pls (especially the more sernior members) give me an estimate of when they think the likely marriage date for this native may have been - it will help me to see where ive been going wrong - an explanation for your analysis would be much appreciated. Many thanks kind regards sorabh

Guest guest
Dear Sorabh, There is an old Cherokee analogy about the eternal conflict within man...good verses evil, arrogance verses humility, one teaching verses another and so forth. The Cherokee liken it to a fight between two hungry wolves and declare that the one you feed the most will ultimately win. The same principle applies to astrology...one school verses another, one dasha system verses another and so forth. Parashara has declared Vimshottari dasa system, along with the clear cut rules concerning planetary lordship (http://jyotishvidya.com/ch34.htm), to be the most appropriate for the general populace and best suited to this day and age. This is the system I have fed (studied) for the last 20yrs and, no doubt (for me), it has come out the winner. Everyone must choose for themselves which system they will devote their studies to and stick to it. There is no winner for those who keep switching from one to the other.
