It would be more accurate to say that Sun has absorbed the qualities of

the combust planet...not that the significations of the combust planet

are enhanced in any way. I do agree that the houses owned by a combust

planet are harmed.

I agree that debilitated planets, unless supported by other factors

(strength of dispositor, favourable aspects etc) have an all-round

negative effect. When one finds himself trapped in a house where he feels

so uncomfortable, it benefits neither him or the house he occupies.

 

More than this I would not like to comment on at the moment...different

schools have different ways of looking at things.

But if possible shine your thoughts on the 5 lines.

power/ authority (5th) etc., shall suffer. "

 

4. " A house suffers if its lord is in rasi sandhi or Gandanta. Whenever a

planet is placed in the Rasi Sandhi, it becomes very weak to protect its

houses. The duration of rasi sandhi would be 1 nakshatra pada (3d 20m)

each

side of rasi junction. Among the Sandhi, the three gandanthas (sandhi

between Pisces-Aries; Cancer-Leo; Scorpio-Sagittarius) are the most

harmful. "

 

5. " The controller of sukha trikona is the 4th house [kendra houses

control

the trikona]. If 4th house is afflicted the person faces misery. If 4th

house is badly afflicted, person can have suicidal tendencies. This is

aggravated if the 5th house from Moon is also afflicted (with malefics). "

I've heard that when Planets are close to the sun but NOT close enough

to be combust, their energy is enhanced. Also, when Venus and Mercury

are at their furthest distances from the sun they become very bright.

Not sure of the practicality of this, but one might expect more

influence from them at this point.

 

In my experience, combustion is REALLY nasty, but Mercury is more

immune that other planets.

This is due obviously to the nature of Sun as lagna karaka...our innate

nature!

Yes, the visibility (brightness) of Venus and Mercury naturally enhances

their significations. They also become participants in certain yogas when

occupying houses next to Sun (or Moon).

Any thought on what would be happening " spiritually " when a planet is close

to Sun?

What is the divine logic for combustion of planet due to sun, apart from the

physical logic of Sun being an Fusion bomb.

 

Say a debilitated Saturn being Combust? That would be good? Effects on

saturn ruled houses in this case?

What for an exalted saturn being Combust? Can it be combust since sun is

debilitated? Effects on saturn ruled houses?

 

Yesterday I saw a chart with

Scorpio ascendant

Jupiter Exalted in 9th house.

Sun Exalted in 6th house.

Venus Exalted in 5th house.

(may not be exalted degree wise or but atleast in exaltation sign)

Mars, moon, venus, mercury in 5th.

Saturn and Rahu in 10th house. ketu 4th.

 

Moon (9th Lord) and Jupiter(5th Lord) have a house exchange.

Lagna lord in 5th house.

 

Mercury is debiliated and venus is exalted in same house, dispositor jupiter

also exalted.

Is there a nich bhang raj yog for mercury? Who does the nich bhang, venus or

jupiter?

 

What is the effect of a Debiliated Mercury sitting with Lagna Lord & 9th

Lord, 7th Lord, 12th lord, and Mercury himself being 8th and 11th lord

sitting in the house of 2nd and 5th lord. Wheww..

 

What is the divine connotation of a benefic being debiliated?

What is the divine connotation of a malefic being debiliated?

How does this related to past karma when related with 5th house or houses as

given above?

 

This guy got lot of losses in his investment/trading activity in last 1-2

years.

His father is super strict and follower of rules and they have a difficult

relation.

He feels dis-focused at work and boss @ work is becoming -ve.

Although this is my view, there are many who disagree.
