Varshaphala (annual chart)

Dear Balaji,

///Thanks, but no thanks! :-)

I feel a lot more comfortable sticking to Parasara!

:-)///

As per my understanding, Varshaphal, meaning 'fruits of the year', is used

extensively in Northern India. I recall back in '95 two esteemed Maharishi

Jyotish Pundits were here from India specifically to give consultations for

meditators. I decided to have a consultation for Yagya and Jyotish Gem

recommendations. Those recommendations included a yagya to be performed on

my birthday (for overall progress). It was recommended that this be done

each year.

It is said that the exact time of one's Varshaphal is a sacred annual event

for each individual. It is at that moment only that the Earth/Sun

relationship is exactly the same as when we were born. Such a moment

constitutes an " event " , and as with all significant events, this too is the

basis for a horoscope of importance.

We recognise the value of drawing a chart for the time of marriage, for

starting a new business, or any other major event in life...why would

varshaphal be considered any differently?

There are many opinions floating about...some of which declare varshaphal to

be borrowed from the Arabic system etc.? I prefer to think of it as simply

another 'event' chart.. What I do know for certain is that this chart,

highlighting one specific year only, does not, in any way, conflict with, or

supercede, the Janma Kundali...nor the vimsottari dasa system.

However, I'll leave this for now and perhaps we can talk about it another

time :-)

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

Fatima's Secret and NBRY

Wendy ji,

///Although the Second Vatican Council brought about

many fundamental changes, I don't see that it warrants

a new horoscope.// /

Exactly what I thought! That's why I felt that it was

best to seek your advice before casting a chart based

on this data!

///It might be worth taking a look at your annual

chart (birthday chart or varshaphal) to see how this

year might progress. Your year lord Jupiter is well

placed in 9th and munthesh Mars is exalted in 11th.///

Thanks, but no thanks! :-)

I feel a lot more comfortable sticking to Parasara!

:-)

End of the day, since Bukti Natha Guru is Neecha, his

period is not good. Let me wait for Sani's Bukti,

which starts in October 2007.

Dear Patrice,

Thank you for taking time to check this for me. I followed the instructions

given by Geovision and successfully reinstalled the program only to find the

problem WAS with my computer after all :-(

I sent them an email thanking them for their support but don't know what

happened to it...it's not in my 'sent' folder??...can only hope this mail

finds it's way without any glitches!

Regarding Rashmi's chart, I should say I did take note of the dasa lords in

Rasi before accepting the avastha indications. Note; 2nd lord Venus,

dispositor of Rahu, aspect on Saturn. Venus, known as the planet of

increase, denotes increase of finances etc..

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

Dear Wendy and Rashmi,

Hi, great to see these very educational posts. Hope all is well for

everyone. I've been giving no time to computers for quite some time ~ which

gives me no participation here. My apologies in that regard Wendy.

Just briefly, I checked these avasthas Wendy, and you have them correct ~

checked on PL6.

All my best wishes,

Re: PERMISSION ON QUERRY

Dear Rashmi,

As you know this list does not encourage requests for predictions due to the

fact that it can quickly become focused entirely on requests such as; 'when

will I get married, when will I get my visa' etc., and meaningful

discussions become obsolete. However, as you've taken the initiative to ask

permission, I'll endeavor to answer your question :-)

We've spoken earlier of the importance of recognising the various conditions

(avasthas) of the planets. So, in this light, let's see what your current

dasa (SA-RA-JU) indicates in terms of wealth...according to Parashara

http://jyotishvidya <http://jyotishvidya.com/ch45.htm> .com/ch45.htm

Saturn:

If Saturn be in Nidravastha, the native will be rich, endowed with charming

virtues, valorous, will destroy even fierce enemies, etc...

Rahu:

If Rahu be in Prakanasavastha, the native will acquire a high position, will

perform auspicious acts, will obtain elevation of financial state, etc...

Jupiter:

If Jupiter be in Nidravastha, the native will be foolish in all his

undertakings, will suffer irredeemable penury, etc...

We can conclude therefore that both Saturn and Rahu are favourable in terms

of wealth but Jupiter is not. It would be better therefore (in my opinion)

to wait until Jupiter P/D ends (26th May) before taking such a financial

leap.

Having said this, I must point out that I'm having some problems with my

software and can't be absolutely certain it's giving me a correct readout.

I've sent an email to the company and am awaiting their reply. In the

meantime if some member is using PL7 they might be good enough to check the

avasthas for me.

PS: I can only point out the potential of the planets influencing you at

this time, I cannot and do not intend to influence your decision in such an

important matter. The decision ultimately is yours alone. Please be aware of

this!

Dear Rashmi,

As I said in earlier mail:

//Regarding Rashmi's chart, I should say I did take note of the dasa lords

in

Rasi before accepting the avastha indications. Note; 2nd lord Venus,

dispositor of Rahu, aspect on Saturn. Venus, known as the planet of

increase, denotes increase of finances etc..//

Strong Venus, dispositor of 4th lord Moon and Rahu, in 2nd house of

family/finance, is testament to what you said (below)

You Wrote:

//I just wont to also tell you that so far god has really blessed me & i am

fortunated in all field of life like financially, family life, had 2 good

sons,happeness, just no complain//

Dasa lord Saturn (lord of 10th/11th) in 8th is an indication of some change

in relation to status/occupation. Although in sign of Grt.En, he is in

retrograde motion which means he is approaching his sign of exaltation. The

aspect of 2nd lord Venus is confirmation of the wealth gained...note; Venus'

dispositorship of 4th lord Moon. 4th house governs landed property, houses

(hotels), comforts etc.. And, of course, Venus' dispositorship of Rahu is a

strong indicator of worldly weath.

Fortunately for you, retrograde Jupiter is also approaching his sign of

exaltation. However we should be cautious of the fact that Jupiter occupies

8th from 10th and can indicate a change in position...particularly during

dasa of 10th lord. There are some things you should be aware of:

1) Although Rahu can, under favourable conditions, bring great wealth

(worldly prosperity), scripture tells us that change of circumstances may be

expected at the end of his period. Your current Rahu bhukti (antardasa)

concludes in June 2009 and is followed by Jupiter Bhukti.

2) Jupiter occupies 8th from 10th whilst his dispositor, exalted Sun, is

closely conjunct Ketu. Some unexpected hindrances may be expected as this is

the nature of Ketu. However, Ketu in Nidra avastha also indicates wealth...

Just as some find it difficult to avoid struggle/penury in their life, it

would seem to be just as difficult for you to avoid wealth :-)

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy
