PS: The new Barack Obama website

(barackobama.com/page/content/fightthesmearshome) was set up

specifically to address the many rumours circulating regarding his

citizenship, birth name etc, etc. The (invalidated) birth certificate was

published to quash those rumours once and for all.

 

One thing the net is very good at is conspiracies and rumours...they

spread like wildfire! We should consider it a stroke of luck that his

birth certificate has been sighted and pay no mind to all this silly

rumour-mongering.

Dear Ravindramani and Krishna,

 

It clearly says on the birth certificate that any alterations invalidate

the certificate. Do you honestly think anyone would be so naive as to

publish Obama's birth certificate on the net without first blacking out

some vital information? Having a valid (unaltered) copy of a birth

certificate made available on the net would be incredibly stupid. Would

you publish yours without first ensuring that unsavoury characters could

not print it and use it for malicious purposes, or would you invalidate

it by removing some vital information.

Dear Krishna,

 

I think you could have read those comments too. In the morning, I

did notice with some element of surprise that the serial no. of the

certificate is missing. Even that is a validated copy of the orignal

certificate issued for applying passport etc. generaly any State

Authority issues the same with the date of issue. Surprisingly that

too missing.
