Following are my obserations:

 

1. Sun - Debilitated in Rasi and in enemy's house in Navamsa. In

close conjunction with deb. Venus and Ketu. In the constellation

of enemy Rahu. Neechabhanga is provided by Sani being at a

Kendra. However, dispositor Sukra is combust and is very close

to point of debilitation. In general, Sun is not in a good

shape.

Navamsa. Forms Gajakesari Yoga with exalt Guru. However, is with

Rahu and aspected by two debilitated planets Ravi and Sukra. Is

in the constellation of enemy Ketu.

 

Though 10th lord Guru is exalted and forms Gajakesari Yoga, I

see the following problems:

 

- Jupiter is suffering from kendradhipatya dosha

- Exchanges constellation with enemy and retrograde Sani

- And is in Nidravastha.

 

This person would be soon moving into Mars MD. Mars is a strong

vargottama and sits in a friendly house in both Rasi and

Navamsa. However, is in the constallation of enemy and combust

Sukra. The dispositor Ravi is also debilitated.

 

Overall, it is a strong mix of positives and negatives. The

postive influences are being countered well by the negative

influences. Hence, I suspect that it would be a huge task for

this native to quickly rise to the top. Whatever he achieves

would do so by constant struggle. There is no smooth ride.

Let's consider B.N.Raj's query (below) for a moment...

9th (dharma) lord in 10th verifies the natives desire to be in a position to

help others...such natives do have a strong sense of dharma, no doubt, and

their desire to help others is legitimate. Under favourable conditions this

placement indicates a prominent career, luck in career (ready solutions to

problems resulting in smooth progress) etc.. The question is; how capable is

9th lord (Saturn) in this position?

 

No doubt the significations of Saturn himself will have a strong influence

on this house due to his retrograde motion, whilst at the same time, the

houses/s owned by Saturn can suffer setbacks due to this retrogression.

We need also to consider the aspect of 11th lord Mars, dispositor of MO/RA

and lagnesh Mercury, along with the relationship between Saturn and his

dispositor Jupiter.

We are discussing about a person born with rising Gemini. The

question under consideration is name, fame and wealth. Who are they

going to give them to the native? Are they promised in the chart?

 

At the outset, what is the condition of lagna lord? Mercury goes to

the sixth aspected by the sixth lord Mars. No benefics in Kendra

and 8th lord malefic Saturn in Kendra. The native is a person who

is sickly and prone to diseases. Mars is the worst planet for this

native as it rules the 6th and 11th. Of course lagna is saved.

Neither a planet is placed nor does planet aspects it.

 

Simple Parashara rule is that for a Gemini native, Jupiter and

Saturn combination or their inter relation does not prove fruitful.

9th lord is going to 10th . The simple indication is that the

native wants to have name and fame. Saturn is in retrogression.

When a house is having a connection with 8th the significations of

that house suffers. Now the scenario is the 10th house is aspected

I just expressed my views on the thread. My intention was not to

undermine your views or your ideas or your learning. Better I had to

addressed my message in the name of List. I would do that in

future.

 

However, for Gemini Lagna, Sun is a malefic and his debilitation is

a blessing in disguise. I did not mention the Dasha of Sun in my

message and the Dasha of Sun would have been better than that of

Moon dasha.

 

In fact, it is the instruction of Parashara that Moon is a Maraka

and it would give its resuls as per its association for Gemini

Lagna. I should have used the word Marka in place Gemini. It was

slip.

 

For Gemini Lagna Venus is the lone benefic to give results. This

also well within the rules of Parashara. Of course Venus is

combust. My point was for Gemini, Venus is only planet classifed as

benefic to give any kind of yoga.

 

Let me wait for the views/confirmation of the person concerned whose

chart is under consideration.

Dear Narsing Raj ji,

 

First let me tell you that I am just a student of Astrology and

nowhere near to be called as Jyotish ratna :-)

 

Secondly, thanks for the feedback about my reading. In most

cases people don't give any feedback. Giving feedback will help

me improve my learning.

 

Now, let us look at Mars MD in general. Mars has the following

profile in your horoscope:

 

- Lord of 6th and 11th, hence is malefic

- In friendly Rasi of Ravi, but is Ravi is debilitated

- In the constellation of debilitated Sukra

- Is vargottama

- Situated in third house

- Aspects Sani

- Neither aspected by a benefic nor by a malefic in Rasi

 

In general, this combination shows that the native will be

aggressive in this period in the issues concerned with attaining

gains and dealing with obstacles or enemies. Being a vargottama,

the health appears to be not a big concern, though there could

be minor issues.

 

One concern is that lagna lord Budha and Sixth lord Mars being

together in a Kendra in lagna. This is not a good combination,

might get into some kind of a trouble with people who don't see

eye to eye with the native. In fact, this effect is enhanced

looking at from Moon as well: Dispositor is Mars and sixth lord

is Budha.

 

Hence, the native should be very cautious and check his

aggression. Should not get into unnecessary arguments/fights as
