Guest guest
Dear Enlightened Ones, I have been reading on arudha lagna and the concept of predicting the nature and background of one's future partner, the upapada, has been fascinating. My questions are as follows: 1. does one look at the UL in the rasi or D9? 2. does the upapada stands for " our perception " of our spouse/partner, but it is not/and does not necessarily represents who he/she truly is 3. which/and who is more significant, the lord of the 7th house and the 7th house in the rasi or the lord of the upapada and its house placement in the rasi (as far as predicting whether marriage will take place, and whether the beloved will be gorgeous and loving)? One Guru said that the 7th lord represents how we view marriage while the Upapada(s) represents our partner(s) 4. how can this be if arudha is just " maya " or illusion/perception? 5. if upapada lagna conjoins A7, which according to one Guru represents actual physical relationship, does that mean the sex relations is confined to one's upapada? more so to the point, does it indicate " virgin brides " in female charts and monogamy/faithful to one's wife in male charts? two of my friends have UL conjoined by A7, and they are both virgin brides. 6. when a planet conjoined the UL how does it relate to it as far as the success/failure of the marriage is concerned. for instance does UL with saturn or mars in navamsa mean the couple will experience poverty (saturn) or arguments/enemies (mars)? 7. what is the ideal planet that should join the upapada? will sun promise fame and political power for the couple, jupiter-wealth? moon- travels? venus-passionate love? 8. if one's rasi looks bleak as far as marriage is concerned, but D9 promises marriage, which should be considered? one Guru said no D- chart can deliver what the rasi cannot promise. 9. if the 7th lord in the rasi is placed in the 2nd house in the navamsa, what does it signify? my translation is marriage will bring about wealth in the individual's life. my friend's horoscope for instance has 7th lord saturn (rasi) is in 2H cancer in D9. Her future upapada is kind of wealthy. 10. do you really believe that marriage is reflected in the charts? please recommedn a book on navamsa and upapada. I hope you can attend to my questions. Thank you so much. May God's blessings be upon you?

Guest guest
Dear Guru Rafal, You have an amazing mind. Thank you for responding so quickly. I thought I had to wait for days. Your site is fantastic. I am reading and learning a lot from it. In my friend's RASI chart her venus is 3rd and 10th lords. And it is placed in the 4H in rasi and 7H in the navamsa. My initial reading points to a marriage. But since moon is 12th lord in Rasi and CONJOINED venus in 7H in the D9, then my reading is wrong! Did I get you correctly when you said that 12th lord of rasi when placed in 7th bhava in D9 may deny marriage? Or does it apply ONLY when venus is the 12th lord? Interestingly, in my friend's chart, D9, venus is 5th and 12th house lord. So, I'm thinking (with MUCH TREPIDATION) that both the rasi and D9 12th lords are in the 7th house...no marriage and children for her. I hope I'm wrong. Your insights are very much welcomed. Thanks and God bless! Sincerely, L.Sidani Rafal Gendarz <starsuponme wrote: *hraum namah adityaya* Dear Sir, Please find my answers below. Guest guest
Dear Guru, Does the loose morals refer to her partner or to her? This woman is chaste. It would be a pity if she marries a womanizer! My final question, i hope! 1. does the 7th lord in navamsa also play a role in determing the nature and tendencies of the partner. in her case moon and venus are in sagitarius. one Western Guru confirms the philandering ways of the future husband because dhanu loves freedom and cannot be constricted. 2. have you ever published a book? the one you recommended was by Guru Sanjay Rath. i already ordered it online. please recommend one more. Thank you for all the help. Please don't get tired of sharing your gift to struggling astrologers and VA enthusiasts. Guest guest
*hraum namah adityaya* Dear Lispeth, #1 Are You sure that Your Navamsa is rectified? If Moon is in seventh the she has quite strong libido, character of spouse will be read from the sign - thats the advise of Parasara Rsi! #2 7L in D9 is of crucial importance. Whole life of spouse will be read treating the 7H as Lagna. But thats only for the first partner. 2nd one will be the second house ... Thats Uttara Kalamrta sloka! #3 Please order Jyotish Fundamentals by Visti Larsen. He is my teacher in Jyotish Vedanga.
