Painful tears of an amateur Astrologer.(when I will get the job..... Pls help me

Thanks for taking up the issue.But who will bell the cat.Thats

the million dollar question?

 

There shud be some system which --way queries will be entertained and

there shud be a sistem to discuss the prediction ,which ever methods

they use shud be discussed and this way both the objects will be

fulfilled .

 

Here as u say some rat race is going on

 

Here just only queries and some predictions r happening and we lost

interest in the thread once some body answered it as many times the

answer wont attract out attention and a avalanche of queries happening .

 

So i think we come out with a sistem .

Dear Sathiyanarayanaji,

 

To start with, I always maintained that these groups are not free astro

centres. They are meant for the members to learn and discuss astrology. The

charts posed are only a step forward for learning and personally, I pick out

only those charts wherein I have something to learn or at least, test my

learning by hazarding a reading. After all, the proof of pudding is only in

eating it. Hence, people need to be assiduously discouraged for hanging

around for a free lunch.I do not do much commercial reading yet, this is my

opinion in the interest of all. Most of these people who call for free

readings can afford a professional astrologer.

 

Towards this end, I always write privately to the chart owners whenever I

see a serious problem that needs long time discussions and ask them to

approach good professional astrologer.

 

In any case, this trend of people simply asking for a free reading on the

groups should be change. Of course, posting a chart is different for

discussions. This may be done sometimes since chart might be interesting and

hence, needs to be shared. In some cases, the chart may need a second

opinion, in cases of dilemma. Such postings will no doubt help the group

members to further their learning.

 

For one, I have always posted academic questions based on the charts I have

seen. This will encourage discussion and application of academics on the

actual charts.

 

Coming to the question of one up man ship, I think such things might be

inevitable in these kind of groups, it is very good if people can

voluntarily avoid such things, at least since these groups are dealing with

satwik sciences like Astrology. However, obviously, the best man will

always win, since he will get the most number of responses.
