Guest guest
Dear All , I have a few technical questions . Thank you in anticipation . Each Nakshatra Charan has been given an alphabet . What about missing alphabets ? Like say B What is the logic behind the alphabet and the nakshatra to which it is attached ? Some of the alphabets never come at the beginning of names like Ga ( written D , gemini ) Is the alphabet important or the pronunciation ? Should the alphabet be in the beginning of the name or anywhere in between ? Is there any book that can be referred to for more information on this matter ? Regards, K. Guest guest
Dear Chi.Anand, Each nakshtra is divided into four quarters; each quarter could be identified by a sound note / alphabet. Tamil phonetics you have observe two sounds, one short and another long for e.g., ca,cA.These alphabets are seen as repetitive from one nakshtra quarter to another. Where as in Telegu phonetics we have four sounds for e.g., ca, cca, ga, gA. (Well versed in Telegu may correct my understandings if found wrong) .The repetitiveness shall not arise at all. All these alphabetical sounds should form as the first syllable in a name. Vocal pronunciations of name alphabets are important. At times there may be some difficulties in finding names that starts with relevant alphabets. These could be tackled with the assistance of Pandits who are conversant with Bagwatnaamaavali chahasranaamaa etc. There are several male and female name books available for sale at reputed book sellers. With regards, D.Sathiyanarayana Gupta. Anand <anand.ghurye wrote: Dear All , I have a few technical questions . Thank you in anticipation . Each Nakshatra Charan has been given an alphabet .
