Marriage compatibility formula procedure inversely different from South

(follow pirathi [every] Shankershan as the day of month’s beginning ) to North

(follow pirathi [every] sukla Pratipat as the day of month’s

beginning/Sangalphamaadha).

The former derives the compatibility from that of girl to boy. It is inversely

beging followed in North India that is from that of boy to girl.

What are the Astrological reasons for it?

Are we correct in advocating compatibility with out ascertaining North and

South divide ?

 

Which aspect divides South and North regions? Can we term the area lie between

Tropic of cancer / kadaka rekaa to Tropic of Capricorn / Makara Rekaa as SOUTH

and area outside it could be termed as NORTH?

I presume, the above clarifications are necessary in the present context of

global usage of Vedic-astrology.

Most pertinent answers you expect from the WORLD COMMUNITY OF ASTROLOGERS.

From the archives of this group I do not seem to have seen any answers for your

quarry. I also welcome relevant answers from the ‘horses’ mouth’; for solving

the following pitfalls which are seen as hurdles / stumbling block while doing

the exercise of matrimonial compatibility.

(1) Girl to boy compatibility- what is said as vadha-vainaasika nakshtra may

not be so for people who see the compatibility from boy to girl.

(2) Similarly navapanchama dosha, sahtaashma dosha etc.

(3) Nadi dosha is another area which is being shown a scant disregard in

Tamil Nadu(South India) where as it is considered to be one of the prime

deciding factor for compatibility in Northern India.

Pandits please advise.

Dear SNG ji,

 

If marriages were indeed made in " heaven " then why do we question

those or seek clarifications further?

 

And if they were not made in " heaven " then again why do we need

clarifications further, anyway?
