In India, various astrologers prescribe this stone as an inexpensive substitute for the planet mars. Hope this helps; Gaurav In a message dated 4/28/2007 10:51:50 A.M. Guest guest
Gaurav, I have been reading a few of your posts and may have responded to a few as well (I reply to so many in different forums daily that I have stopped remembering -- please do not take personal offence). At first I thought you were , but it seems you are a different person and are from a strong background, genetically and by training as I recall from one of your messages -- in the wonderful field of gemology. It is good to have someone present here who has focused on learning and practising in that area and can give us some PRACTICAL, hands-on insight :-) Keep the gemstones shining, the primary, secondary, tertiary, quaternary ... and so on! Guest guest
|| Aum Durgayai Namah || || Om Shreem Mahalaxmiyai Namah || Namaste Ranjan ji, You mail is much appreciated. My efforts are an attempt to bring some knowledge into practicality of wearing gems. Most often than not, learned & gifted astrologers prescribe various gems to their clients and results reaped are little to none positive on account of poor quality or flawed gems being worn. They are all good astrologers but know little if anything about gemology, and then the predictions go wrong. There is enough in puranas about the qualitative & prescriptive aspect of gems, and I merely intend to bring forth those for the benefit of the members, and make them educated.
