Tapaswi yoga explained below 2. Rahu or Ketu in swamsa (lagna orkarakamsa) or 5th 3. Jupiter and Ketu to give knowledge from tradition 4. Atmakaraka in 11th house or associated with 11th Lord in Rasi 5. MatSya yoga (full or at least partly formed) 6. Strong Mars like in Ruchak mahapurusha yoga 7. Strong association os Aswini, Hasta, Satabhisaj etc nakshatra with yoga forming planets or Karmarsha nakshatra 8. 8th lord associating with the houses of knowledge 9. Ketu gives jyotish in 5 from Swamsa according to Parasara.. Rahu in Lagna or kona to Navamsa Lagna gives crossing borders and it gives Jyotish from these sources. The best is Surya in Lagna per lecture of Sanjayji..im fortunate to have it. 2.Matsya Yoga is in Bphs in the miscealanous yoga chapter. Its when 4 and 8 has malefics and fifth has mixed planets. This Yoga can be full or partialy as Gurudev said. I find main dictum for Jyotisha when eigth bhava has connection to fifth bhava. Visti Larsen : 5L with 8L in 12H in Guru-sisya Yoga. Zoran Radosavljevis : 5L is in Libra and Taurus in D9 (eigth bhava distance). Sanjay Rath 8L in fifth bhava. Sarbani Rath 8L in fifth bhava. Myself 8L in fifth bhava. 3.
