Guest guest
Germany as a nation or a region doesn't have just one chart. We could cast a chart for Germany once it was unified...no longer East and West Germany. We can cast charts for individual events....but it's hard to say exactly when Germany originated. I've often wondered the same thing about nations...for example, casting a chart for Egypt or China or India has long interested me. The problem lies in where to start in history. As far as location, it's merely a matter of knowing where...and the location only determines the Ascendent, Midheaven, and the houses. For example, should we cast a chart for the city of Berlin? or London? Premanand <prem_gem wrote: Dear Sirs I am trying to learn Vedic Astrology and I live in germany. Could someone guide me on how to determine the birth data for casting the horoscope of Germany and also Europe. Both Germany and Europe have had a very turbulent history. Guest guest
Thanks for replying. Well I checked up with German Unification date under Kaiser Wilhelm on January 18th of 1871 when the first time the Germany started as one conutry with Berlin as the place. I don´t know the time of announcement. Based on the well defined periods (during world war 1 and 2, revival and again reunification I was wondering if some time can be found. But I am not yet so knowledgable to do time corrections. I was wondering if someone ofthe Learned Gurus have done this before. I agreee countries like Eygpt, Iraq etc would be much more difficult. vedic astrology , Dennis Dixon <a_happy_fiction_writer wrote: > > Germany as a nation or a region doesn't have just one chart. Guest guest
Namaste Sri Premanand For Germany please use October 3, 1990 for predicting events after this date. The place should be Berlin. The time I have no idea about but some historian or German would be able to help you with it. Before this period, please use date and time separately for West and East Germany. These dates will be around 1950 or so. Here the place to be used should be Bonn and East Berlin. Here is something to go by with as regards East Germany " In 1948, Stalin still hoped to create a unified German state that was politically neutral and on which the Soviet Union could exert a certain influence. He did not finally abandon this option until 1952. In the Soviet Occupation Zone, the SPD and the KPD—the Social Democratic and Communist parties—had been unified into the SED (the United Socialist Party of Germany) with such a perspective in mind. The bourgeois parties formed a bloc with the SED to pursue the same aim. " " The division of Germany was now sealed. In May 1949, the Federal Republic of Germany was established in the American, British and French zones. Five months later, the German Democratic Republic was founded in the Soviet zone. Bourgeois property was rapidly done away with in East Germany. By 1948, all the banks in the Soviet sector had been nationalised. In 1951, the East German parliament passed the first five-year-plan and, in 1952, a party conference proclaimed that " the basis for socialism in the GDR should be methodically established " . " With some research, I am sure you'd be able to find dates and times for the events given above. Guest guest
Further to my earlier email On 23 May 1949, the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG, Bundesrepublik Deutschland) was established on the territory of the Western occupied zones, with Bonn as its " provisional " capital, and declared " fully sovereign " May 5, 1955. On 7 October 1949 the Soviet Zone was established as the German Democratic Republic (GDR, Deutsche Demokratische Republik), with East Berlin as its capital. Now all you have to do is find the time.
