Hello Umesh Ji (or anyone else)

I wanted to ask you about Shivalingam Stone(s) care and for a

reading!

I bought a couple of them(stones) in early March and I'm not sure if

I need to clean them with salt or saltwater. So far I just put them

into rain water to energize them(it doesn't rain much here in the

desert), but the rain has a lot of energy when it does)!

Do I need to know or do anything as far as programming them?

Do I need to do a weekly maintenance care for them as well?

I'm here in the USA and I have done a lot of searching on the net,

but no luck as far as finding any information in this area.

I have read many of your posts and you are a very kind and helpfull

person to be so generious to so many people!

Sometimes I thing people don't stop to think that you might have as

many issues going on with your life as them! Compassion should be a

two way street(flow)!

In my life I have had two major people from India influnce my life

in a positive way at work at two different companies! They made work

a joy and almost a religion, at least a passion!

They also brought me a great deal of good luck and mental growth

career wize!

I would like to get a reading from you, do you need more

information? I will get it all in order, if so.

My life has been on hold in many ways(I haven't worked in over 2

years), as my job has gone to many different countries(out-sourced)!

Dear Mike,

I'm only a Member -- not a reader. However, I may try and advise you about the crystal cleaning. I have several crystals at home and use them for different purposes. The ones that I chose to use for 'healing' (myself) .... I followed instructions from the person I got the crystals from (one clear and one is smokey); she told me that I should clean them by putting them in a glass bowl filled with water and a touch of sea salt ... to keep them in there overnight with a cloth over the bowl. As these two crystals are used for healing ... she told me it's 'not good' to keep them in any place where the sunlight can hit them. She said it's best once they are cleansed to keep them in a dark place (preferable covered in a dark cloth) or in a box or something. I keep mine in a box inside a dark blue cloth - covered. When I go to use them, i use them right after a 20 min. meditation, then I take them out and use them. After each use, I

'cleanse' them again. Same procedure as before ... always drying them with a 'clean cloth' ... and placing them in the box again.

Other crystals that you use for ornaments, or for 'rituals', or 'dreaming enhancing' ... may be left in any place ... but even those should be cleansed periodically; different people will advise differently about 'how often' ... but for mine, I usually cleanse them once a week!!!

Hi Angelina,

Yeah, I'm only a member too! I have other crystals and do many of the things you suggested!

However some crystals need special care. Some crystals are damaged by any type of salt, some by just saltwater!

Most of the time(I have done both), I place my crystals in solid salt, per some books.

I have put some crystals in salt water and desolved much of the stone!

Most of the time I place them in salt for about three days, as they have been handled by many people!

The issue I'm am concerned about the most is how or do in need to program these stones from India and anything on recharging them. So far I just try to charge them up with pure rain water, sun light & meditation. Moonlight can be good too!

I saw a psychic and she said that either my crystals were not cleaned(I did a good job) or not programmed correctly. Since then I have gone back and programmed some of them and felt a change with these crystals.

The subject is out of the purview of this forum. But, I could not resist replying after observing

your keen interest.

Q. crystals are damaged by any type of salt... solid salt...

A. Salt has a crystalline structure, leaves a layer upon drying and therefore may not be the right choice.

Q. program these stones...

A. You may use Reiki, Magnified Healing, Pranic Healing or similar energy technique/s in which you are

proficient.

Q.how or do i need to program these stones from India.. .[shivalingam Stone(s)]... I bought a

couple of them(stones) in early March and I'm not sure if I need to clean them...

A. 1).rain water= It is better alternative than using Salt or salt solution.2). They may not need any

further clearing. 3).There are many ways that are followed by Hindus. 3).Simplest is to leave

the Lingams under the flowing tirtham after Abhishekam in a Shiva Temple for 48 days where

daily Abhishekam takes place. The stones get charged with suitable and retainable energy.

(Tirtham= Sacred Charged Water; Abhishekam= Sacred Bathing Ceremony). Are you close

to any Shiva Temple?

Hi Mar Ready,

Interesting!

I cleaned my other crystals with salt, but had an overpowering feeling that this might not be right for my Shivalingam Stone(s)! ..so I just rinsed/cleaned/harged them with rain water.

I guess they were trying to tell me something!

Anyhow we don't get much rain here in Arizona, but when we do, everything grows extra fast compaied to just regular city water!

I have three books on how to clean, program, and care for Crystals and have read many more that say to clean most Crystals with salt. However, it just didn't see right with the Shivalingham Stones. I jush left the stones in rain water for over three weeks, and then pulled them out when it felt right.

I know that there had to be at least a few people handling these stones, so I really wanted to remove their Karma, so I don't pick up anything negative.

What is Abhishekam?

(Tirtham= Sacred Charged Water; Abhishekam= Sacred Bathing Ceremony). Are you close

No, sorry to say! I find all of this very interesting! .... but what you say does feel right!

I take it that you are now living in India? Maybe someday I will be able to go to your country.

My best two bosses were from India. We did a lot of R & D and process improvements.

They had a way of making the job fun. You got to impower yourself and improve the work inviorment, ensted of just being a slave and drifting in the wind.

I really want to give these stones the respect they need, so they can do their job for me!

I'm not very proficient at anything thing most of the time. I do try to do deep Meditation at least a few times per week! I used to follow a master for over 7 years(no meat).

I'm trying to let go of a lot of baggage I have been carrying around since I was a child as well as other lifes!

I have been working on it very hard for about 2 years now!

No, I'm not a nut job or a person with drug problems. Just looking for direction, peace and my little slice of happyness.

There is a web site with all the thngs you are talking about, so I'll start praticing some of Magnified healing and Prantic Healing. I have done some of the Reiki Healing off and on the last few years. I'm still just a rookie(beginner).

Thanks so much for your time and energy, you have been a big help.

I'll spend more time with the stones and bath them in rain water more.
