Using Crystals to Diagnose the AuraBy Adam KaneThe concept of crystals influence on the aura is not new, however, it is being more thoroughly explored in a scientific manner today than at any other point in near past. Many theorize that a lost civilization, which could be linked to the legends of Atlantis, once utilized a science centered around crystals to manipulate energies, the aura, and to heal the human body. We do not possess any conclusive evidence of this civilization or its science at this time, so we must do our own explorations into this field and treat all else as theory.A research chemist by the name of Marcel Vogel has done a great deal of exploration in the field of crystals and their energy fields. He has scientifically measured the energy shifts in crystals that are programmed for certain purposes and has also experimented with energy fields surrounding crystals. He has also found many methods of using these energy

principles of crystals to aid in healing the human body.Perhaps one of the most useful methods of crystal healing, especially for the amateur or layperson, is diagnosing potential health problems with crystals. This can be done by scanning the aura of an individual for imbalances or breaks in the auric field. These abnormalities in the aura are often signs of current ailments or warning signs of illnesses yet to come.It is very important to remember, however, that this is not a perfected science and is far from being any substitute for the modern medicine practices that we have available to us. Crystal diagnosis should be used in conjunction with conventional medical treatment.There are two primary ways of scanning the aura with a crystal. These include probing, and surface scanning, which both work best with clear, single terminated, quartz crystals. When probing the crystal should be held similarly to a flashlight in your dominant hand (right if your

right-handed, left if your left handed), when surface scanning the crystal should be held in your non-dominant hand so that one of its sides is parallel to the person you are scanning.Probing is best used to find breaks or blockages within the aura. Use the crystal to amplify your own energies into a beam. Guide the crystal back and forth over the person's body focusing the beam of energy into their aura. By doing this you should be able to feel a slight change in your pulse or your own energy field when a blockage is hit or a break in the aura is encountered. A blockage will give the sensation of your energy bouncing off of a surface, while a break will give you a sudden impression of letting go, similar to if you were pressing your hand against something and then the object was suddenly removed.Surface scanning should be handled similarly to probing, going back and forth over the person's body, but this time you are using the crystal to amplify and disperse your

own energies into a sheet. This sheet of energy will not penetrate the person's aura to find blockages and breaks, but is much more sensitive to the surface or the aura to find minor imbalances. These imbalances could be signs of oncoming illness. When a break, blockage, or imbalance is detected you should have a professional check out the effected area.
