Can any on tell me which one is authentic .

 

1. Lalkitab

2. brhigu sahita

3. ravan sahita

4. brihat hora shastra.

5. garg hora

 

i am not making any distincio i terms of vedic or no-vedic but

traeting all related to astrology and providing remedies .

i hope all gurujans throw light on this .

Dear Mukesh,

All books are authentic in their fields.

1. Lal-Kitab: It was written by Pt. RoopChand joshi and published by

Pt. Girdhari Lal Sharma in 5 Editions I.1939 II. 1940 III. 1941 IV.

1942 V. 1952. You can see the images of all the editions in photo

section.Inspite of similarities with Tradition Astrology, Lal-Kitab as

its own unique rules and method for analysing the horoscope. Lal-Kitab

derives its fame from the simple, inexpensive and fast acting

effective remedies.

2. Bhirgu-Samhita: It was written by Sage Bhirgu. Period is not known.

It is a manuscript written on Leaves. Today, Many families claim that

they have the Original Version. As its secrets were not revealed, it

is not possible to comment or discuss its method.

3. Ravan Samhita:It is written by " Ravan " and more of Tantra rather

than of Astrology. I don't know much about it.

4. Brihat Parasara Hora Shashtra: It is written by Sage Parashar in

5th Ad. in 17th chapters. It is known by its fundamental rules of

Vedic Astrology.

5. Garg Hora: It was written by Sage Garga before Parashara.

In Last All books have their own importance in astrological field.
