Guest guest
Respected Umesh Ji Many thanks for your prompt reply. As requested, I am writing very freely to you so please excuse the fact that this mail is quite long. In advance I would like to thank you for taking the time to tend to my matter. I am grateful. In answer to your questions, I felt OK initially when I did the upais, at least for the first few months, up until about August. Then, as you know, it starts to get dark in the evenings very quickly in the UK so after September I stopped throwing the copper coin in the water everyday and only do it on the weekends when I am not at work. If you feel the copper coin upai is beneficial for me, please let me know so I can try and get to the river before I leave for work in the morning. I was also told not to cut my hair. I have not had my hair cut since October 2004 however, if I do want to cut it, is it OK just to get a small trim so the hair looks neat, I will not cut it short, just tidy up. I fell like no matter what I do for people, I get nothing back in return, only hurt and misunderstanding. It doesn't matter if the people are my friends or family. I feel very alone and do go through small periods where I feel depressed and abandoned. I feel like no one understands me or cares, they just want to use me and take advantage of my giving nature. I find it hard to concentrate on my job due to a misunderstanding/miscommunication with a friend of mine. I even tie my hair and drink water before starting work but some days it's just no good. I cannot sleep well due to tension and then when I do fall asleep I get all sorts of strange dreams. I feel like I am surrounded by selfish and untrustworthy people who are only bothered about their own gains. I have a part time pottery weekend business and my business partner who is an old college friend has now decided that we should end the business and doesn't seem interested anymore to make it work. I agreed to end it since I will be immigrating but she insists on just finishing it all off jaldi jaldi and doesn't care to put any effort in to give it one last shot. This upsets me immensely. Maybe I am being far too sensitive but I feel like I put a lot into the business, mentally, emotionally etc. and now she just wants to draw a line under it all for various reasons. My Mum's health is not too good and my father also suffers from blocked arteries. You are correct, recently my Mum has been told by the doctors that she has artheritis. She is normally quite an active woman but these days finds herself very short of breathe and also has high blood pressure and complains that her joints ache. She is getting checked out by her doctor to see if anything is wrong with her. I was told by someone that she would perhaps not live very long and that this time is very " bhaari " for her, hence my worry. My eldest brother has spent the last year in his bed, he has muscular pains in his legs, a bad back and can't walk very well. He drinks alchohol, eats meat and basically isn't interested in bettering himself. I do not have good relations with him or his wife and they live with my mum, dad and me. It seems like any sort of progress is at a standstill. Even my immigration application gets undue delays for no reason. My application is very simple and since I am being sponsored by my brother there is no need for any such rukawat in the process itself but again, as I have said, things just come out of nowhere and some archan or the other presents itself. My Dad was asked to do the following upais: Do Gau (Cow) Daan Feed milk 2 snakes Do Bakri(Goat)Daan The problem is that my Dad is quite a stick in the mud and he said he didn't want to do any of these upai's. I asked if I could do them and I was told that these upai's should be done only by the males of our house as I am a kanya and as such would not be able to do the gau daan. In any case one of my brotjers would need to go to India to do this and none of them would be ready or willing to do so. Apparently, we have a curse from our ancestors on my father's side so I have been told hence the children in my dad's side of the family will suffer latre progression or marriages tha end up in divorce or then late marriages etc etc etc. Could you confirm this at all? (My eldest brother was married and then divorced and has now been married for the second time for the last 7 years). I was asked to get rid of money plants in the house and to make sure any vases were always kept with flowers and that any empty flower pots should be thrown away. I was also asked not to keep green bottles in the house. I have got rid of most of the green bottles but there are some brandy and whisky bottles in the house that my Dad says he doesn't want to get rid of. So you see, there is only so much I can do on my own. The one upai my Dad did do was to bury Jowar in our back garden near where our dog was buried after it died. We were told to keep a black dog but this is not possible in my house so I go and give dog food to the local dog house and try and feed the dog's of my friends wherever possible. My Mum put milk in the water which we were told was an alternative to not being able to feed snakes. I don't have very good relations with my father, he always shouts at me if I try to talk to him, so, for fear of rejection, I don't speak to him much. He speaks about me behind my back to my other two brothers with which I do maintain good relations. I just end up having aruments with my Mum instead almost as a method of getting my frustration out. The only peace I get is when I go to the Mandir. I go to the Mandir every Saturday from 6pm-10pm. I am a volunteer there and therefore being told not to go to the Mandir is a big blow to me. Is there any alternative I could do? I was told previously that if I had to go to the Mandir this was fine as long as I did not give any paisa for daan. Please confirm this. Also, could you explain why it is not good for me to go to the Mandir, it's the only thing that keeps me going at such a difficult time. I do puja at home every morning, I do jaap in my bedroom and just light an agarbati. I keep the water from the cemetary under my bed. Should I put it somewhere else in the house? I will surely follow your advice and start to wear only black undergarments from the waist down starting immediately. About the mustard oil drops - you say I should drop some oil on any park's land(Kachi Jameen)continousely 43 days or saturday. By " Or Saturday " do you mean 43 Saturday's in a row or just once on a Saturday if I cannot do it everyday for 43 days? I will tell my Mum to wash her hair in unboiled milk. Which is the best day for her to do it? If you could answer my questions I'd appreciate it. Then, once I start the upais, I will contact you after 10 days as you requested with a progress report. I look forward to hearing from you. Guest guest
Respected Umesh Ji Thank you once again for your prompt reply. Just a few points of clarification required regarding the answers you have provided in bold letters. 1. I will stop the copper coin upai immediately. 2. I will only get a trim on my hair and make sure I keep my hair at shoulder length. 3. I don't think there is a BHAIRON MANDIR in London so I will tell my Mum to wash her hair on Monday with raw milk. By raw milk do you mean " Kacha Dood " - like milk mixed with water or is it OK for her just to wash the hair with milk straight from the bottle of milk purchased from a shop? Please confirm. Also, does she only have to do this once or should she do it every Monday? Could you confirm please the time period for which she should dothis upai? 4. As you know, I visit the Mandir every Saturday. The Aarti is at 7pm but as you say, I should not go after sunset. Would it be OK if I arrive at the Mandir BEFORE sunset and then stay for the Aarti and Parvachan afterwards? My understanding from your comments is that as long as I arrive at the Mandir BEFORE sunset it is OK for me then to stay there, I should just make sure not to not arrive there after sunset. Also, please tell me what time period I have to do this for. 5. Regarding the ancesters curse from my father's side, are there any upai's that I can do myself to calm/lessen/stop this bad effect so that my two brother's who are single and my progression (I am also single) is not stopped and there is no rukawat or problems for when we get married? Even if this means I have to travel to India for a week or so to do any important upai's that my father is refusing to do, please advise. Just to give you some further information, my Tauji's daughter had divorced after some 14 years of marriage and another Tauji's daughter lost her husband a few years ago. My Tauji's son's daughter (my niece) had a lot of marital problems but now the couple are sorting themselves out and the other daugher, her marriage is fixed for this April. We do not speak to any of my Dad's side of the family, just my Tauji's eldest son's family and that's it. Just wanted to give you this additional information to help you with your analysis. 6. Sometimes it is very hard to remain patient with my mother but as you have suggested, I will try my best not to upset her and do as she says (God must really be testing my patience on this one!) 7. I will continue to feed dogs as and when I get the opportunity. 8. Please clarify for how long I have to avoid going to any marriages or functions on a Friday. 9. I don't understand what you are saying about the mustard oil. Are you saying that if I can do it everyday continuously for 43 days I should start immediately, and if this is not possible I should do it every Saturday but only for the month of June 2005? Could you also explain please what benefit this upai will bring? And finally, just to give you some more information, I have been told that I shouldn't offer or give water or milk to anyone from my last birthday just gone(2004) until my birthday that will happen this year. I was also told to keep some red cloth or handkerchief with me everyday. When I was not certain whether my brother would sponsor me for immigration, I was told to take a mitti ka ghara, close it with it's lid and let it flow in the river. I did this and immediately afterwards my brother agreed to sponsor me. My nose was pierced when I was a teenager at college and to this day I keep a nosepin. I have also been told to make sure I always keep gold earring in my ears. I have been told not to keep any shells. I keep 7 chuhare wrapped in red cloth in my car and have been forbidden to drive a red coloured car. Please could you kindly advise when I can expect to be granted a visa for my immigration to Australia - I was told even before I applied that it would be very beneficial for me if I was to live away from the country I was born and preferably near the water. Once again, thank you in advance, I look forward to receiving your reply. Guest guest
Respected Umesh Ji Once again, thank you for the prompt response. Apologies for bothering you again but some things are not clear and I would like to make sure I have fully understood your comments before I proceed with any upai. 1. I understand that I shouldn't attend the Mandir in the evenings. Please tell me when I am free to go to the Mandir again, I mean, can I go to the Mandir as normal after my next Birthday? Please advise. 2. I don't understand what you mean by PAITRIK DOSHA. Please can you tell me in detail which upai's are necessary for me to do personally and the timeframe within which they need to be done in order to achieve maximum benefit. Also, please tell me if this is the reason why my application to immigrate to Australis is being held up. 3. Can I do the mustard oil upai in the back garden of my house? We have a big lawn with grass or should I specifically go to a park and do this upai? Please advise. Is only ONE saturday sufficient for maximum results of this upai? 4. Please clarify if my Mum should wash hair with milk purchased from the shop or whether it needs to be mixed with water before applying. 5. I don't understand your silver powder upai. If I am to purchase the silver powder from a shop in the UK, what should I be looking for? I mean is there a name of the powder or if you can tell me the hindi name, I can try and get it from a local Indian shop. You say I need to throw this powder in a room before I enter, please confirm exactly which room you are talking about - do you mean my bedroom, or any specific room in my house? What time of day does this upai need to be done? Please clarify. Also please let me know when I should do this and for how long, I mean is it sufficient just to do this upai once or do I have to do it for a set period of time? Lastly, if my questions are too long and you prefer that I consult with you outside of this forum, please let me know how best to make contact with you. I eagerly await your reply and thank you in advance for taking the time to consider my queries. Guest guest
Respected Umesh Ji Thank you for your response to my questions. In your previous message you wrote " DO PAITRIK DOSHA'S UPAY IT IS NECESSARILY " and in the message below you said you will tell me the upais later. I will wait for you to tell me these upais when you feel it is appropriate. I will not be having an interview for my immigration. I have already completed my application, it just needs to be lodged with the Australian government and this is being done via a migration agency and all correspondence is done via email or telephone. The only thing I have to do is appear for a medical exam when I am informed to do so. Do you still want me to do the chandi powder upai in this case? If so, where would I sprinkle it since I do not have to attend an interview? Apologies in advance for this next question. I know you have said it is not good if I go to the Mandir in the evening. As I mentioned earlier, this really is a huge blow to me since I am an active volunteer and am placed in Aarti seva and as such my team members expect that I should attend and participate in giving out the Aarti, especially during important festivals etc. Could you please explain why it is so bad for me to go to the Mandir in the evening? Does it have anything to do with the health of my parents or any of my 3 brothers? Please be as explicit as you can with this question. It is only so I can gain a better understanding. Being born and brought up in the UK means we " western " children have a habit of questioning and enquiring therefore please do not mind the nature of my questioning on this topic. I do not wish to cause you any upset here. I am planning to start the mustartd oil upai on Wednesday 19th January and I will do it continuously for 43 days (so I finish on Thursday 3rd march). Please conform if this is OK. I was also thinking of having laser surgery on my eyes this year so I do not have to wear glasses or contact lenses anymore. Please advise whether it is OK to do this or if I should not do it during this birthday year (i.e. since my last birthday in 2004 until the birthday due this year in 2005). I look forward to your swift reply and once again would like to thank you in advance for analysing my details. Kind regards, Sarita lalkitab , " Umesh Sharma " <mudit982001> wrote: > > Dear Sarita, > read your answers in capital letters. > lalkitab , " phoenix00200020 " > <phoenix00200020> wrote: > > > > Respected Umesh Ji > > > > Once again, thank you for the prompt response.
