Guest guest
Friends: I request you to come with your views on to 'marriage' in Hindu Vedic astrology. We had recognized child 'vivah' in our society earlier. So Astrologically that date is taken as date of 'marriage'. But, I believe, that is a social declaration and not to be identified as marriage. Recently a father of a girl, approached me with a horoscope of that girl and asked me when she will get married. She was 31 years old at the time the horoscope was presented to me. With my usual process of assessing the correctness of time of birth etc, loaded the details in my computer. I worked out that she must have 'married' at least more than a time earlier. That is, I consider the sexual intercourse between a man and a woman should be termed as 'marriage' and then she should be called as his 'wife'. When I found this, I gave a bundle of excuses and sent him to contact another astrologer friend of mine! I was later informed that the girl informed her father of her illicit 'relationship' with a man and she is already pregnant. Similarly a person had many 'wife's in this manner, though he is married and lived with his legally wedded wife. Here again, I was wondering how the legal wife's horoscope can cast 'influences' astrologically on this person for some of his loss of properties and his indulgence in vices. I think I should ask that person to get the birth details of all the girls with whom he had affairs!! All these lead me to believe that a person is by the 'introduction' by the mother as 'father' of the child, and it is difficult to trace the origin astrologically, in its 'absence'! Similarly a female standing next to a male could not influence his fate as there is no binding reason between them for this. Of course, a 'wife' has reasons. In that case all 'wife's are to be accounted for results under astrological rules. I am certain that many swords will be drawn against me in the august forum of eminent astrologers here. I beg their pardon! A doubt is a doubt, irrespective of its nature. I believe, they will be too gracious to clear my doubt and put me on 'rails' with knowledge. Thanks.
