You are right partly.

Take the case of a boy studying for Board Exam

(SSC 10th Exam).

His intelligence allows him to score 90% in Exams

and appear on the State Merit List.

There is another boy who is also studying but

his intelligence does not allow him to score more

than 50% in Exams, as he does not have better brains.

 

Now both of them have strong will power and work

hard. So by working hard they are both able to reach

their optimum levels of achievements. Now this optimum

level is what Destiny has given us for each of us as

per our past Karmas, in all the 12 departments

demarcated in a Horoscope Chart,

which is but a Map of Destiny, Past,Present and Future.

But how many of us reach our Optimum levels in Hard work

and efforts ?

So definitely there is a fixed path, a destination,

a level of achievement in Life in

all departments which are already earmarked, but how many

of us know our earmarked levels, and how many of us after

knowing this work to reach that Level ? We may have already

lost hope much before reaching our optimum

levels of destiny earmarked for us.

 

Conclusion - We must still work hard and strong. Maybe we have

yet to reach our optimum Levels. Maybe the times when we were

expecting results were not right. Maybe if we keep working, we

may reach elevations then our present levels, in time to come.

Maybe Goddess Lakshmi or Vishnuji may Bless us and raise our

Optimum levels of achievements if we continue to work hard.

Hope is Life. Positive thinking is the Breath.

Dreams to be realised are the Goal posts.
