Guest guest
Om Datta Guru Dear Manjunath, As i had mentioned earlier it was taken from Iskcon site where Bhadrapada is mentioned but for me its still Sravana personally speaking. the way . I cross check from Kalnirnay and Ramans panchang and both mention Aja Ekadashi, Singh & Bhaskar both have confirmed the same. But the month is not the issue for me, though i understand that at times each Ekadashi one needs to observe certain different rules at times. I have a simple approach to Ekadashi Simple Approach 1) I fast on that day starting from Dasami evening with fruits & full fast on Ekadashi, & breaking fast on Dwadashi morning 2) If one is not sure of which Ekadashi this is as there are many months in india, one just needs to pray to Ekadashi Devi who is Vishnus Avatar & ask forgiveness 3) Additionally one can pray to Krishna also 4) One needs to do the Sankalp mantras once during Dasami and Ekadashi - both of which i posted a month back 5) I read the relevant story of the Ekadashi concerned 6) I do not even bother which Ekadashi is when, i just see the Tithi and its Ekadashi, which month does not bother me. (on 7th Sept it is Ekadashi tithi but some calender might take it 6th as they follow different system of tithi determination) 7) Even if the Tithi is not ekdashi, there is a weekday (Vara) so the Vara lord's Chakra is corrected in our body and some benefit is always gained. I follow this and I feel very satisfied at the end of the fast, i feel light and am easily able to go into deep meditation stages This way i try to keep it simple & I feel if one does it with pure intention then even if any mistakes Lord will not mind, Narayana is most compassionate. The reason I am propogating Ekadashi Remedy is since a Yogi mentioned that this is the biggest remedy than any remedy, ofcourse I believe him more since his work on astrology changed my whole life in astrology. He quoted a shloka by Shiva as to the point he was trying to make.Everyword of his is mind blowing and life changing. Anyways i have already seen many miracles of Ekadashi Fasting best wishes Sunil John Mumbai , " M. If you go to the divine life society website, you can download a pdf that talks of spiritual discipline. Guest guest
Om Datta Guru Dear Bharat Yrs back even i felt it was 'only' for spiritual aspirants & missed the boat, but if one reads the literature and stories of each ekadashi one easily realises that its goal is not just spiritual enhancement. This is my understanding from what i read of ekadashi. The end point is very clear from each ekadashi story and that is destruction of all kinds of sins, every ekadashi repeats that many times within each story. Now the point is we all suffer here in our lives due to our sins so why not reduce our sins through ekadashi vrata and also by doing good karmas best wishes Sunil John Mumbai , " Bharat - Hindu Astrology " <astrologyhindu wrote: > > Namaste Sunil > > Ekadashi fasting is prescribed for spiritual aspirants and it was done by > Sri Swami Sivanandaji.
