Mer in 11H - Sukar Nadi/ Research Request

Dear Sunil ji,

 

Once again giving the Lal Kitab logic.

 

Mercury placed in the 11th house, which the Lal Kitab considers as

belonging to Saturn [ kumbha in kal purush kundali], becomes very

powerful because it is in the house belonging to a friend of

mercury.

 

The correlation of the 11th house and the affection between the

spouses is already very well brought out through your logic.

 

Going a step further;

 

This mercury could adversely affect the Jupiter, an enemy of

mercury, if it gets associated with Jupiter either through aspect or

placement. Hence the husband, represented by Jupiter, could

possibly get belittled or his position in the family compromised.

Mercury would have adverse effect on other things also represented

by Jupiter . Mercury being a friend of Venus [ wife ] could

encourage Venus to be less concerned about Jupiter. Just a loud

thinking !!

 

But this could last till the age of 34 [ the age designated for

mercury ]. After this age things should get normal in terms of

mutual respect.

Thanks for your detailed response, its very informative.

 

A good point you brought out which i was to ask much later in the thread

which is if Mer is placed in his good friends house (Saturns) then why

is it harming the house and giving bad results

 

Pls expand on how we take the results to understand that is if the

results will be till 34 yrs or will start after 34 yrs of age

 

If some light is thrown on the above it would help

I believe the effect of mercury would last till the age of 34 and

not beyond.

Dear Sunil ji,

 

Each planet has been designated particular years to them, e.g. Rahu

42 years, Ketu 48 years etc. Similarly the years designated to

mercury are 34. That is why I believe that the malefic effect of the

mercury should not last beyond 34 years.

Kitab has given the reason as to why the malefic effect would last

'Upto' a particular year

I use both the hindi editions known as Arun Sanhita and the

original urdu editions. I have all the five books both in Hindi and

Urdu.
