However, as the yoga is (perceived) to be formed when all the planets are hemmed-in by the nodes, we can safely say it is NOT found in this horoscope. In karma sthan will not give good results. Its for national charts and seeing varsha phal (result for one year or national birth charts ) during vishu phal ( i mean mesha sankranthi charts applicable for india as astrologicaly its new year for universe as mesha is natural first sign and sun s entry remarks a new rotation for a year as its entering in first sign and will take 12 months to transit ) So if that chart specify for any given raja dhani of a country then we can call kaala sarpa>otherwise rahu and ketu are always 180 degrees apart and u can find allmost 80% of the charts may be even all leading personalities who achieve success at young age has this yoga. Also this chart does not has this yoga according to all specified norms as rahu is reverse transiting planet and jup and sat and moon r away from it and if u take anuloma ( kala amrit yoga ) then mercury and venus not included . so both ways not there see dasa of rahu in this cluster of combinations and sub period of rahu running. and transit saturn over this combo ,so some troubles will be there but still will get support as jupiter is there in this combo . The chart is of my son in law (marriage fixed on Feb 2008). You have given so many factors which are matching the truth. I appreciate your astrological knowledge and studies. I have given him exactly the same advise as You have given in this mail. I was just worried as he is into entering some contract signing for Export and opening a new company on my advise, with my daughter as one of thes (Since she is running a good financial time)and with another partner who has the connections abroad. The native is already into manufacturing , has opened a factory 2 years back with few crores investment , and now wishes to open a branch abroad, and also increase his turnover of export with more countries and bigger contracts. I was just worried that he is into too much of expansion at this stage when Saturn is already over the sign of Leo, which has so many planets in the natal chart. Then his parents asked me to check the kalasarpa Yoga, as some pundit told them it is there. Pl do not ask me to authenticate this. I have done searching for all literature available on this, all my Life ,for the same combination present in my own chart. (The logic pictorially also sounds good enough. The vaahan of Rahu is the Tiger, and so does the Leo sign represents. Seated here Rahu feels strong). Rahu in close conjunction with Mars gives a rash and aggressive nature in the workplace as the placement is in the 10th house. He has his duels with his workers and staff, as we know quite often, for which I have already advised him. Mars is the Lagna Lord, so Rahu gets the power of Mars and also Guru, because Guru too is close conjunct with Rahu as the 2nd and 5th Lord. Saturn is crossing through these 2 points, and both planets Rahu + Guru are in Nakshatra of ketu. Saturn signifies, 10,3,4,5 and 10, while Rahu and Guru 9,10,2,5 and the 3rd house strongly. This transit on Natal Charts is about to create a written contract (Amounting to few Crores Business annually which native is further seeking for) because the 10th house shows the source , and the 3rd house shows the results ie.written Document. A week ago this is what I was talking about. Saturn transits through the natal Planets. This transit would signify through the source- what Saturn signifies- and result- in the results what the planet transited signifies. Venus is Karaka of 7th house and aspected by Saturn and in the nakshtra of Sun, a separative planet, without benefic aspect. Thanks, You have done the right action by stepping in, since this is a Public forum, and when one person requests for views on a chart,it is better if all are able to share theirs,I always maintain that Groups should be like family, and members like family members. I am aware of most of the points you have mentioned here in your mail. It may be surprising to you, but I also second most of them. I knew the 10th house as afflicted even before I okayed the match, but due to other good factors in the chart,I agreed to the match. I am less worried about the retrogression, and more about the close combination of Moon and Saturn , and Moon here is also the badhaksthanadhipati in the chart. The transit I am more worried,is after two years henceforth from now when deeps Sadesathi point would be crossed alongwith Natal Saturn. But as every Chart has its plus and minus, we have to accept here too,and undertake the remedial measures. Do You suggest Pooja for Kalasarpa ? Any other remedies ? and also let me know if you notice anything else. With 3 vakra planets in 10th + an exchange between the 2nd, 5th and 10th lords, the only fear should be of a fantastic but late-blooming professional career (in finance?). The only problem is the lagnamsa being in Cancer in 9th (Moon and Mars debilitate one another). The person is potentially his/her own enemy. Possible medical problems and association with friends of doubtful integrity for another 3 years. A diamond until that time will help. He can reach to top if he plays this dasha well. I have practically seen this abt saturn-rahu , so if he is cheated then everything will be cleared soon. Rahu in aries in my view, as Rahu is shadow of sun so it is best in leo as per my observation. Rahu in aries / leo and scorpio gives rise. I usually keep issues and personalities separate - and there is no permanence as such to speak of in respect of personalities either. If some X is yelled at one day, it doesn't (and shouldn't) mean that X is always the target; only short-sighted ones do that. At almost 28, I think I'm old enough not to fall into that type of fateful trap. I have also seen people who generally speak sensibly say the most irrational, foolish thing for no apparent reason. I have never hesitated to say my mind then either. Of course, I expect the same behaviour with me from others as well, and I will not have hard feelings. According to me there is no Kalasarpa yoga in the chart as the Lagna is outside the arch. Mars is 2 39 and Rahu is 3 37 in Leo. So Mars is also out of this semicircle. I also vividly remember an issue of Journal of Astrology dedicated only to Kalasarpa Yoga.This particular issue carried many articles written by eminent astrologers. All the articles had the same theme that there is nothing like Kalasarpa yoga. This concept has come into practice much late. It was also stated that some unscrupulous astrologers are exploiting the gullible people in the guise of KSY. Your concern of Chandra and sani conjunction is genuine. As manokaraka this combination will affect his judgements and decision making. He will have a wavering mind. But Guru being associated there it should balance. The buddhikaraka budha aspect should also help. I will be the last person to say a cancer patient that he is gong to die, even though he is gong to die as hope is life. I am sorry to say that you have forgotten that Sh. Bhaskar is himself a learned and experienced astrologer.When he place a horoscope on the forum, it means that he wants to teach some astrological principle to the members of the forum.If we are not able to place our view free and frank, how can we learn? You are also a learned and experienced astrologer, so you should not loose your mind and I am not going to teach you what is KSY. According to my experience KSY makes life a game of Snake and ladder. I have repeatedly paced on the forum that the planet posited in a house is stronger than the lord of the house; The lord of the nakshtra of the planet is stronger than the planet; occupant of the lord of nakshtra is stronger than lord of the nakshtra. I hope you must be knowing it. Here in the horoscope Venus is posited in the nakshtra of Sun and Saturn is occupant of Sun. More over there is exchange of nakshtra of Saturn and Sun. We should not forget that the planet give their results only duing dasha and antar dasha/bhukti. Venus in 7th in Taurus is not bad, it makes the the spouse gain weight, round face and short hight.but all the plantes are having kendra aspect on 7th which is not desirable. The dasha of Venus is very far away, so not to worry about it. I put my emphasis on 4th house where Mercury, the malefic for the lagna, and Ketu is posited and aspected by planets in 10th. The dasha of Rahu is not bad as rahu is posited in 10th with trikona lord Jupiter. There is exchange of 10th lord and 5th lord. But we have to keep eye on transit of Saturn in 10th and aspect on Venus. Saturn is 3rd and 4th lord in rashi chart and 7th and 8th lord in navamsha chart. 3rd is 8th from 8th. So saturn has sting of 8th house also. These are my personal views and you are free to differ.
