Dear Members,

Regret to see that I have to step into clean up the discussions here.

I strongly believe in self moderation, especially in a forum that has

such high intellectual content.

I am taking the following steps to start with:

a) Posts by all new members will be moderated.

b) Any post that is personal, abusive or pejorative would be deleted

and the member informed. This is already being done. However,

henceforth, more than one such post will result in immediate banning

of the member from the group.

c) Any message that is not Jyotish related will be deleted.

I am really sorry for this step but lets see how this goes and we can

always relax the rules.

Thank you for the same. Now that you are moderating this group, I guess

there is no need to carry on with the Hora Shastra group. The need only

arose since this group was not being moderated.

Can I suggest that you make more moderators here who are fair and can share

this task with you?

Thanks and Regards

Bharat

No need to share the moderation task, we are all mature and

intelligent adults here.

Even the most fairest of persons can evolve into over-zealous

authoritarians when given moderator status. I have witnessed this in

several forums. So lets leave things as they are.

I don't feel that any mutual goodness has been lost : my messages

were written in good spirit! Thanks for your concern anyway.

I had put this query to the forum a while back:

What does Mars, as YK in most D-charts(as well as Rasi), placed in

10th house indicate?

Clearly this indicates a powerfull Mars, and a great career

motivation.Does this possibly indicate (succesfull) male siblings? I

am interested in insights based on practical experiance.

Thanks.

Tamas is also an expression of viewing the world topsy turvy. There is not

always a disregard to understand, but one thinks one understands correctly

when one does not.

Generalization are surely Tamasic. I wouldn't put them in Rajas.

Thanks and Regards

Bharat

Namaste Sri Bhaskar

We are not fighting but rather discussing the nature of Tamas, without

suggesting that either one is. Tamas is a quality which has to exist within

all unless one realizes the Truth.

Yes Sir,

Namaste.

I know that you people are made of better stuff,

and have shown so, in face of provocations too,

and never resorted to base language, that is why

I did not wish that any arguments may be prolonged

in you both's case. No other reason. I know

you both are spiritually much elevated then most

of us, so I never surmised that you were in some

verbal duel, but just in case it should

turn that, was my fear.I never like or wish

that good people argue for long on a single subject.

And also let me confess I was really impressed by

your silence on few occasions when I spoke

otherwise,of those leaving the Forum, surely I

did not mean ill of anyone, but had just felt sad.

Once again you proved to be in the lead by

not shooting back on those statements I made.

I am learning from you people.

But alls well that ends well.

regards,

Bhaskar.
