Guest guest
Eminenent Astrologers, In someparts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Papadoshas are calculated numerically. Some elderly Astrologers in my early days of studying Astrology, did not approve of calculating " Papadhosha " numerically. They contended under given values,if the differences of Papadhoshas arrived at between the female and male horoscopes, of a choiced two before marriage, the horoscopes have good Papasamyam. An elderly astrologer explained to me that, papagrahas or malefics alone do not cause Kalatra Dhosha in a male horoscope. Benefics could also cause this Dhosa, if they are in 7th in certain signs. For instance, Venus in the 7th in Scorpio, Mercury in the 7th in taurus, Jupiter in the 7th in Capricorn, cause Kalatra Dhosa. Similarly, Mars does not cause widowhood in a female horoscope, if Mars is situated in particular signs, which are 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, and 12th houses from Assendant, Moon and Venus. If a melefic is in the 2nd 4th 7th 8th and 12th houses as lord of Assendant, he will not be productive at strong doshas. I request a discussion on this. Should Papadhosha becomes part of analisis in matching Horoscopes? Does the statements above justify? and so on. Regards, Pathi.
