Divisionals 2/ Challenge to anyone/Bharat

Dear Bharat (and to Prafulla as he was part of the first post done in

this thread)

 

Although the thread is over and my reply should have come in long back

but due to work pressures could not read mails or contribute much.

 

1) Before i give reply to the quiz, we must understand as to the context

in which Shri K.N.Rao had given these two charts. It was on the context

of Vargas and in the context of ONLY USING RASI CHART TO PREDICT can be

UNFRUITFUL. I browsed through a post saying that Rao Saheb uses only

Rasi chart to predict this is not true or hard to digest, as otherwise

he would not have given this example to me.

 

2) Then a thread where i saw that Rao Saheb says 'That person who cannot

master Rasi chart cannot do astrology' is like a half truth. Ofcourse we

need to first see things in Rasi successfully there is no debate to this

& then cross check what out of the 10 things that we are seeing in a

house are Actually happening in the concerned divisional- that is the

method to predict & to master for us students as we progress in our

journey.

 

3) It would have been the easiest thing to shut this discussion on

Vargas wherein charts of Twins could have been presented in the first

stage but i did not do it, hence i presented a chart where 2 different

people born on Two Different Dates, born in 2 different cities have the

same Rasi chart. Then how do we predict with just Rasi chart only. With

Twins even the Karakamsha is the same whether we use it in the Rasi

chart or Navamsa chart - that discussion is again useless in our

context of discussion.

 

4) Most of us would be fortunate to see 10,000 charts but a person like

KNR has seen more than 100,000 if i remember the text wherein Col Gour

writes that in 1985 KNR had more than 50,000 charts in his possession

and only when we have seen so many charts like how KNR has seen we can

come across such charts as given in the Quiz below.

 

5) Out of all astrologers present here only Bharat made the attempt and

I/We must congratulate him Immensely for his effort, whether it is right

or wrong is not the concern, though he is Bang On on one area. I know he

uses Yogi/Avayogi which does not fall in the realm of our known

BPHS/Parasari astrology. Though i wanted to present a case more tough

than this case i did not do so since i wanted to save it for the 9th

Quiz chart in the Navagraha Quiz and i am fully aware how tough it is

)

Let me be the first one to attempt the same. Coming from Sri K N Rao

itself, it is an honor to attempt these charts. I do not care if I am

100% wrong as it would a nice learning experience. As you are aware, I

have not met Sri K N Rao ever, so do not know about this puzzle or its

answers. [sunil]: I believe u.

 

a) Their professionChart 1 (Lucknow Born): Surya Related with effect of

Mars: Administrative Services, Government Related work with Agricultural

Income too, Can be a Tax Auditor in Government, Politician. He can be a

high ranking Military Officer. I am more interested in checking if I got

the ruling graha right for Profession. [sunil]: His profession is Army

Brigadier & he is also an astrologer.

 

Chart 2 (Ludhiana Born): Mars-Mercury related work. In Engineering

field, or Engineering Trade, Industry [sunil]:He is a Industrialist -

multi multi millionaire

 

b) Number of children d) How many children and their sex

 

 

 

Joining similar questions together here:

Chart 1: 4 children 1. Boy, 2. Girl (would have been saved through

prayers), 3. Girl 4. Boy[sunil]:2 Daughters

Chart 2: 2 Children1. Child aborted or misscarriage (unless remedies

performed) 2. Girl 3. Girl Looks like 2 are surviving unless prayers

were performed. [sunil]: 1 son and 1 daughter

 

e) Wealth

Chart 1: Abundance of Wealth. A lot of wealth coming from one's own

efforts. Chart 2: Moderate wealth and income: Enough to support but not

abundant. [sunil]:We can guess how much wealth for an Army Brigadier

(Chart 1) and how much wealth for the Industrialist(chart 2) in my notes

for Chart 2 it is written multi multi millionaire so the contrast is the

Army Brigadier is not wealthy in comparison to Chart 2

 

c) Did marriage happen in same month?I am not quite sure what is being

asked in this question.

[sunil]:I had later sent a personal mail to u explaining what i was

asking (sorry for my confusing english)but for others what i was asking

is did both the men marry in the same month

 

I have used Sri Iyer's method in the above. Any mistakes in analysis are

my responsibility and not Sri Iyer's. I hope these charts are discussed

more and we get to know the answers too. [sunil]: I must congratulate u

Bharat with my heart, I myself would not have been able to do 1% of ur

effort and justice to the charts.

 

It was mentioned in some threads that nowadays quizzes or challenges

happen (this was mentioned in a sarcastic manner), i agree with them and

hate it myself but when one has a mentor who hammers everyday in my mind

that without blind charts attempt, one will not learn jyotish. I feel

he has some truth as it is easy to give remedies and make predictions

about the future as no one comes back with feedback - if any astrologer

in any of these lists was asked to predict minimum 40 past events to

every chart posted here we would realise how much we know jyotish and

thats the reason i repeat we do not know jyotish or atleast i do not

know jyotish since i cannot do that. That is the reason i always repeat

' To Teach or even Discuss Jyotish with authority one must demonstrate

ones predictive ability over a long period publicly, since that would

show that the principles we use to predict are correct' - this was told

to me by KNRao in one of the very first meetings after he came to know

that i have started learning astrology. I always thought why he said

that to me, was it a show off of his great predictive ability, ofcourse

not since i realised that he was trying to say to me that in this world

there would be 10,000 Gurus of Jyotish as everyone wants to teach & who

would come up with wildest theories all of which would look Logical but

how much that theory works would be demonstrated by repeated

applicability of those principles in blind chart predictions.

 

If there is one piece of advice i can give from my disastrous journey in

the initial years of astrology it is this

1) 'AVOID LISTS' 'USE IT FOR DATA GATHERING PURPOSE ONLY'

2) 'CATCH A GURU WHO IS A GOOD HUMAN BEING & CAPABLE'

3) 'ONE WOULD GO MILES JUST BY READING GOOD BOOKS though confusion would

be part of the game

4) WHAT I LEARNT ONE YEAR SITTING ALONE WITH CHARTS WAS 50 TIMES MORE

THAN 3 YRS IN LISTS & then i realised that maybe i have started to take

the 1st step (out of millions) in understanding jyotish, maybe......

Thanks for the answers.It can be used for study purpose for students

like me.I can add them as new entries into my database of charts.

 

Over my period of discussion on Vargas -i get an impression that the

debated point is not understood.for eg your mail - ''ONLY USING RASI

CHART TO PREDICT can be UNFRUITFUL''.

 

Vargas are important and no astrologer in kerala predicts without

navamsha.Only Varga chakras with aspects etc are violating

fundamentals.

 

This again points towards the necessity of an organized paper with

practical examples to drive home the point.

 

All the best with your studies.You should remember that for a person

K.N.Rao jis stature lists may be useless.His experience is vast.

 

But i am far from there.I would not had been able to grasp 1/100th

of what i know today,if the lists and numerous learned scholars were

not around.

 

Difference in opinion exists,and nobody is 100% perfect.The moment

we think we have learned everything....
