Dear Tarun,

No problem - it was not directed specifically at you, as many people on the

thread were doing the same. So I wrote it clearly for all, not just you.

I tend to use Navamsa chart to see further strength/weakness of those planets in

Rasi.

For example, in my chart - Mars is Exalted in Rasi, but Neecha in Navamsa!

My Mars AD (Sub-period of Rahu-Mars) that ran from May 2006 to June 2007 was

very good. So I feel Rasi has more weight, and Navamsa less.

But I am still open on how much/little Navamsa placements/Lordships give - I am

not yet decided whether or not one can treat them in the Exact same fashion as

Rasi placements/Lordships.

In short, Rasi is the Number 1 chart in my eyes - then Navamsa as a supplement

only - then all other Divisionals (whether you want to call them Divisionals, or

Divisional " charts " ) are of lower order than Navamsa.

That said, I am open to changing my view on this as time progresses, so will

wait and see how I feel in say 5 years :-) .

Cheers - Sateesh.

Dear Sateeshji,

//I tend to use Navamsa chart to see further strength/weakness of

those planets in Rasi. //

Thats what we all are supposed to do exactly.

//But I am still open on how much/little Navamsa placements/Lordships

give - I am not yet decided whether or not one can treat them in the

Exact same fashion as Rasi placements/Lordships. //

We are all open for this. The rasi chart is the tree (If I am allowed

to say this)and Navamsha is the (Branches and fruits accruing, if I am

allowed to say this). My own way of looking at these charts - If I

find the Navamsha Lagna and the placements of the planets,Lordships

etc, stronger in the Navamsha (Chart), then it would make me think

that the Rasi Chart is strong, and reinforce and accentuate this

thinking, because the Navamsha(Chart) is strong. If vice-versa, then

my thinking also becomes contrary on the Rasi chart. This thking

may be wrong or right, I do not care much about, but at least I find it

practical.

//In short, Rasi is the Number 1 chart in my eyes - then Navamsa as a

supplement only - then all other Divisionals (whether you want to call

them Divisionals, or Divisional " charts " ) are of lower order than

Navamsa. //

Boss, this is also agreed by me.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Dear Sateesh ji

I also sincerely apologize to you, if my mails inferred your name. In

fact - those queries / conversation / references were for Shri Satish ji.

I will take extra care in future.

Dear Prafulla,

Many thanks, and no problem - it's an easy mistake to make

- and as per my message to Tarun it was not directed just at you or just at him,

but to many on the List.

In real life also, I have to point out to everyone when I verbally tell them my

name, and they write it down as " Satish " :-) .

Cheers - Sateesh.
