Guest guest
Dear shri Chandrasekhar ji, As you are SJC guru - you must be guiding your sishya with SJC Parampara ..so I am surprised on your silence, when Pradeep ji quoted Sanjay ji. Since others have posted about - Santhanam and KN Rao - I request Shri Chandrasekhar ji- SJC Guru to clarify the role and interpretation of D charts and aspects as SJC Guru./ SJC parampara. Regards, Tarun
Guest guest
Dear Tarun, Let me correct you. I am no longer connected with SJC for personal reasons. But let nobody think that I do not respect Sanjay Rath for his astrological knowledge. Having said that, I have always said that I would look at planetary aspects in navamsha if some yoga in a classic specifically mentions it and in D-Charts, in general I would look at the rashi aspects. This has been my position when I was with SJC and remains my position even today. Let me also tell what I tell my shishyas, here. I tell them to first learn to interpret the Rasi charts correctly, by themselves, then to understand the strength of grahas from Navamshas. Having perfected that technique, only then should they try their hand at interpretation of the other D-Charts. It is no use justifying a prediction gone wrong by using arcane principles that one does not use while interpreting the chart in the first place. There are too many drishties, argalas, padas, Karakamshas and D-charts to justify anything. I remember one conference that I attended when a wrong chart, in place of the chart of one of the respected sages, was presented and though the chart was making it evident that it does not belong to a Sanyaasi, even the great names in astrology were trying to justify the chart, till I asked whether the chart really belonged to the sage as no Pravrajya yoga was evident in the chart. Those who were present at that conference will certainly understand which chart I am speaking about. Chandrashekhar.
