Guest guest
I have noticed that pushyami is a nakshatra par excellence. I have done some research on this nakshatra and have noticed as raman has said that it is the most powerful nakshatra especially when choosing a muhurtha. the nakshatra is suppose to be very mystical for muhurthas and able to produce great results. that aside the naskhatra is greatly appreciated. of course if any group members have any comments that will enhance this discussion please join in. sincerely, __________ Raja G. Guest guest
Dear Tarun ji Well, I have seen astrologers considering pushya nakshatra - as auspicious one for muhurta. I am not familiar with muhurta shastra. But on a seperate note - I have seen traditionalists (and tested) that - if native is borne on Pushya nakshatra - then his father faces downfall in immediate time frame. Guest guest
Dear Tarunji, That was a smart move by you to inititate a new topic and thread in this List, so that all could shift here, and a new debate or discussion could have begun. Such moves should be created from time to time, when the former subject matter of debate, calls for a stop. I have a very simple answer for the query of this Header, but when I have some spare time., and am completely off from the old thread in question. regards, Bhaskar. , " Tarun " <tarun.virgo wrote: > > Hello Members, > > Why pushya nakshatra is considered good ? > > I please you all to share your views on this. > > Regards, > > tarun >

But as far i have read, The great Ravana had Pushya Nakashtra Janam and after his birth his father Vishrawa Rishi had to face defame. and oppositon in the his society of Rishis. might be due to that, even Raavana was borned with all exalted planets ( cant say rahu/ketu) and mercury debilated. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar Namaste I just wanted to share some information about how I use Pushya nakshatra in analyzing the charts. Bruhaspati lords this nakshatra and nakshatra indicates Saptarishi mandala. The Saptarishi mandala is a mandala of lineage(Pitar/Gotras). Therefore when Guru(Bruhaspati) gets in this nakstara becomes exalted as now this Guru is ready to pray for everybody to get blessigs from the pitris(Saptarishi). Bruhas means to pray and pati is lord. That is why Guru is Bruhaspati when gets to Pushya. This Guru can create problems as well. As when this Guru is troubled by malefics then he will curse as he will get irritated. Such jatak may then have problems in all the aspects where Ju palys important role. But most of the time it will be a problem regarding Putra,Santati as a Pitridosha. We get some clue from Mahabharata. Satyavati requested Vyasa to give Santati by niyoga. Vyasa(Guru) did accordingly(with irritations) but Durvasa(Mangal) knew that such lineage(pitri mandala) may not continue(Pushya is not good for marriage) and hence gave mantras to Kunti(Deva mandala). Thats how in mahabharata there is a transformation from Pitri mandala to Deva Mandala. So whenever Guru is in Pushaya and is irritated by aspects/conjuctions of malefics, Gurus transformation can be done with success with the help of Mangala. The Bruhaspati can be transformed in Brhamanyaspati. This is done by Vinayaka............ Thanks a lot for your Time and Sapce. Guest guest
Dear Tarunji, Pushya Nakshatra Some member mentioned the Devata of this Nakshatra is Brihaspati, which is true. If we see the symbol of this Nakshatra then one realises, why this Nakshatra is considered auspicious. Not much explanation is necessary. When a child gets born, to live what does he require? Milk from the Mothers breast . Is it not ? When this child grows up, what does he require ? Milk from the , cow is it not ? So the symbol for this Nakshatra is " The Udder of a Cow. " It is difficult for a human being to live in a nourished form, without use of Milk from the Cow, in some form or the other.Milk, Tea,Curd,Lassi,Chacha, Sharbat,Mithai etc. In Pushya Nakshatra the ideas of Brihaspati are linked up. Pushya is derived from the word " Pushti " which means nourishment. The nourishment may be related to either physical fitness or material wealth or knowledge. Brihaspati stands for wisdom.- the wisdom that nourishes the mind. Brihaspati is the Perceptor, the Guru, guide, and a Purohit - priest . Pura- internal, Antahpura Hita- benefit. Brihaspati is also called bachaspati Bachas-speech , Pati -Lord, therefore Lord of speech. (Katha bachna - to read Katha) What are the ideas in this Nakshatra ? Nourishment, Blossoming, to thrive, prosper, augment, increase, Obtain, enjoy , possess. Fatness, Plumpness, abundance, auspicious, fortunate, prayer , devotion, Speech, eloquence, wisdom. Portion of human body- Mouth, face, countenance. I will write how to apply this Nakshatra in predictions, with my limited knowledge, in subsequent mails, whenever time permits. regards, Bhaskar. , " Tarun " <tarun.virgo wrote: > > Hello Members, > > Why pushya nakshatra is considered good ? > > I please you all to share your views on this. > > Regards, > > tarun >
Guest guest
has anyone done some serious research on why pushyami is so well regarded. I mean have I used only other astrologers opinions and have done a mini research project on the matter several years ago when I was hugely involved in muhurthas. I do believe muhurthas are a window in time where the electromagnetic forces are in one's favor. there is no reason it shouldn't be. I mean why would take the time to do a muhurtha. also I believe because there are windows of favorability for everybody just like luck can rise out of thin air, that muhurthas significance is all that more intriguing. namaskar, __________ Raja G. Guest guest
Dear Tarunji, The Devata will certainly effect the native to a great extent. The devata will decide the quality of the results which would arise with regards to the planet. Dont we do Pooja at time of birth for the strong Nakshatras like Moola ? We also take the Devata of the Moon Nakshatra Lord and appease it to reduce most of the problems of our Life. For example if moon in Moola, then Ketu and the Lord would be Shri Ganeshji. I will give you an example Mars and Rahu in Magha. See how do we mix all the given factors. And try to judge how would Mars and Rahu behave in this Nakshatra. Then apply those ideas to the house where they are deposited in the Birth Chart. First of all Magha is also known as " The Glorious One " (This should give you some ideas) The symbol - Kings chamber with a throne in it. (This should again give some ideas) The Devata of Magha is Pitrgana (ForeFathers) (This should give some ideas) Magha is derived from Maghaban (Cloud)- Megh - Devata - Indra) The cloud presents a grave and fearful look . It is the storehouse of electricity, the great energy of the Fires., the terrible thunders are hidden in it. Its sudden anger when falls, there is seldom any protection against it. It roars and shakes the very bones. But it has in it, the most lovable and nourishing properties of the rains. It sheds rain freely for the benefit, of the Earth, and everyone on the Earth. It is a self-less gift it does not want anything in return. So Magha stands for Su-karma - a good action particularly for the selfless welfare of others. Devata Indra is the Lord of human senses (Indriyas), the medium between self and the world beyond self. The energy or the Fire of Magha by representation in a living form effects desires. Desire is the creative effort of mind and that desire, is at the bottom of all other functions. Magha being stationed in the sign ruled by The Sun , is dignified. It carries in it, the traits of the forefathers. Ideas- Light , Lustre, brilliance, splendour, important, high, eminent, a great noble man, The oldest, most respectable, the Chief, The principal. Majesty , important matter, dominion, great deed. Great, strong, powerful, mighty, abundant, to elate, gladden, exalt, arouse, excite. To magnify, esteem, highly honour, revere, rejoioce, delight in. To give, grant, bestow, gift, reward, bounty, wealth, power, bountiful, liberal Father, parents, forefathers, deceased ancestors, progenators of mankind. Possessing or conferring great prosperity, perfection,. portion of the human body - Nose. The Name of the nakshatra, symbol, Devata, the ideas given above, all of these would reflect , in the results, if you sit down to tell someone how the planets would behave in this Nakshatra, without knowing the degrees, by heart. If You just read about these nakshatras, a lot wealth of information can be attained in prediction. When placed in lagna, it would give all the above qualities in the nature. Now if one is running above MahaDasha , say Rahu. and If one needs more of the positive ideas above, then let him worship The Pitragana or Rudra (One and the same). We will talk of the Lordship of Saturn, in some other rmail, maybe tomorrow or day after. Enough for today. By the way, you reminded me to appease my MD Lord, through this Query. Thanks. The above Mars and Rahu are sitting in my Lagna in Leo in Magha Nakshatra both at 6 degrees. 6.19 and 6.41 Yes the above results do match me. I have never done the above analysis ever and doing the first time on my own planets in this way, and by God, every word matches. (Most of above is taken from books). My analysis is only half over yet. We have to take the ideas of Mars and Rahu too in the same way, as we took for Magha., and connect with Magha, to get the complete picture of the behaviour of these planets in these Nakshatras. There is also a technique where no of years are given to both Mars and Rahu (Not talking of dasha periods) and one can predict the exact year of impact of good or negative of these planets. But I have yet to study the same. regards, Bhaskar. , " Tarun " <tarun.virgo wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji, > > > Thanks for your mail. and sharing your observations. > > Sir the nakshatra lord is said to be saturn. > > Now this new thing arise that there is one lord too over each > nakshatra. > > >> sir can you please suggest how much this Devata effects the > native. > >> Do devata exists for all nakshatras ? > >> do we use them for astrological analysis in horoscopes. > > Please suggest further. > > Regards, > > Tarun > , " Bhaskar " <bhaskar_jyotish@> > wrote: > > > > Dear Tarunji, > > > > Pushya Nakshatra > > > > Some member mentioned the Devata of this Nakshatra > > is Brihaspati, which is true. > > > > If we see the symbol of this Nakshatra then one realises, > > why this Nakshatra is considered auspicious.
