I am a member of an Orkut community called "Hindu Support Group". Yesterday, we received a note by an American Christian Fundamentalist named Mark. The title of the note is you are very lucky ur still alive!!!

I have given the content of the note below. His note is in brown, and my reply is in orange. Please read through:-

 

well well well look at the frustration showing on all ur faces...I've seen about 20 such communities here on orkut condemning christianity, but yet to see even one christian community that maligns hinduism, the reason why is because they are none. it shows how insecure people are.here are the factsChristianity is the largest religion in the world with @ 38% following which is more than three times that of hinduism. The day christians become hardliners, you all are finished.. end of story, but we are still peaceful and dont wanna wage a war.We have half more than half a million hindus living in the us and we have never intefered with them, there might be a few stray incidents but that happens everywhere, the hindus torture the christians in india so thats not a new

story.Your holy men and pandits have converted many white people by luring them and telling them how great hinduism is and no one ever objected, remember it is influence and not force that makes people convert.So i'll make this clear once and for all.We hate jews because they reject christ and their international banking cartels are at the roots of what we call communism.we hate tartars, pagans, and every other idol worshipping religion that includes hinduism too because we are here to protect christianity in the true anglo saxon manner and if u cant live with that too bad.

I thought I should'nt reply, but I could'nt control my emotions. So I replied in the following way:-

You could'nt find even one such community, because you are doing all those nonsense in day light with the support of the politicians and other anti-Hindus. We do not have any support, because we are poor people, we do not know to brainwash others! What about the Missionaries in India and elsewhere??

You have more than 38% population, still you are'nt satisfied, you want to take over the entire world. You ask conversions as if it is your legitimate rights! You claim yourself "peaceful" and do not want to wage a war, what about the vast number of crusades and the millions of innocent people killed in such brutal and ruthless wars? What about the destroyed civilizations of Greek, Roman, Scandinavian, etc.? You people are destructors, and that is why you have destroyed so many cultures, have you created any?? Half a million, I wonder there may hardly be 5000-6000 Hindus in US. You have never interfered with them? Whom are you fooling? Just because we are in India , do you think we dont know what is happening in other countries? Hindus torturing Christians? You would talk so, because the Indian media itself is against truth, how will the Western media speak the truth?? Read the articles by Mr.Francois Gautier, a French Catholic, who now lives in India and is writing the truth AS IT IS. Mind you, he is still a Christian, not a converted Hindu!! Who is luring? It is the Christians who have lured, luring and will lure poor Hindus to get converted to Christianity. Remember, Srila Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON came to US and was homeless for six months. He was hardly comfortable. After those six months, Americans visited him and found his words soothing and convincing because of the spirituality and not because of ILLOGICAL LOYALTY that once you surrender and accept Christ as saviour, you should'nt leave that path. Neither we nor our Gurus are funded by the US Government or Indian Government or the European Union for dirty purposes like evangelizing or proselytization. . US Government alone funds $44million dollars to the Missionaries. Please know the truth and then speak!! You hate Jews because they dont accept Christ. Well, my Friend, that is the thought of a Christian. Peak of intolerance. Only your path leads to salvation, well what proof do you have for it. Christ performed miracles, dont talk of miracles to us. There are infinite Godmen here who have performed miracles greater than those performed by Christ. You talk of someone Divine who lived 2000 years ago, come on, I will show you someone who was Divine and lived 100 years ago!You have said that you are here to protect Christianity. So you can protect your religion, why should'nt we protect our religion?You speak of peace to us? Well, there are 14 Christian nations, 26 Muslim nations, 6 Buddhist nations and one Jewish state of Israel . But is there atleast one Hindu country? That is our compassion man!You hate, hate, hate and everything in you is hatred. Whom

atleast do you people love? What tolerance you show to other faiths?? It was around 700 AD. Buddhism and Jainism were throttling Hinduism, and it was about to vanish from the Indian soil. It was at this time, great seers emerged and you know what happened? Buddhism and Jainism were defeated by the Vedic and Vedantic scholars and eventually those two Dharmic religions faded out.Unfortunately, there are no seers now, however, debates wont convince you people. Buddhists and Jains accepted defeat, they were peace loving religions and were even more peaceful than Hindus. But some people will be convinced by words, some only by action. Hinduism spread through by Spirituality and Debates, and not not by the bloody Crusades and Jihads, my friend. What do you know about our culture? Hinduism has not destroyed even one culture, but how many have been destroyed by you people?

Can you count? WHAT HAPPINESS DO YOU GET BY CONVERTING OTHERS TO YOUR FAITH?? Why can't you tolerate other religions?? We do not ask for any domination, nor for an equality, but a peaceful co-existence. Is that too much to ask for?? Hinduism has been subject to all ruthlessness and brutalities for more than 1200 years. My dear, if all that had happened to your religion, Christianity would have been wiped out from the face of this earth. But see, our faith still stands and will stands!

You know why all the violence against Christians took place in India ? They call themselves "Minorities" , but do they behave like minorities? There are also Buddhists, Jains, Parsees (Zoroastrians) , Jews and other faiths too. Are people of these faiths encountered against? But see how many problems are created by these so-called Minorities (Christians and Muslims)! You people say Hinduism is spreading in US and UK , and so Christianity and Islam need to spread in India . My question is, were Christianity and Islam born in Europe or America ? You preach your religion in India , the land were Hinduism was born. But does ISKCON et al. preach Hinduism in Israel and Arab? What would happen if it does so?Instead of merely shouting, try to understand the situation in India and

elsewhere!Please my friend, if you ever have a heart, you will realize what is happening in the world!!I apologize if I exceeded any boundaries!!

your's is only one mail which motivate me to send a reply...

try to understand and accept this point... not only you... every hindu has to accept this....

I nearly received more than 50 mails from this group... which will crystal clearly show

our arguments... arguments....

 

But others - I mean Other religious people are very practical... Not like us... We sh stop

these type of arguments immediately and sh start spreading the History of Hinduism

You would talk so, because the Indian media itself is against truth, how will the Western media speak the truth?? Read the articles by Mr.Francois Gautier, a French Catholic, who now lives in India and is writing the truth AS IT IS. Mind you, he is still a Christian, not a converted Hindu!! Who is luring? It is the Christians who have lured, luring and will lure poor Hindus to get converted to Christianity. Remember, Srila Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON came to US and was homeless for six months. He was hardly comfortable. After those six months, Americans visited him and found his words soothing and convincing because of the spirituality and not because of ILLOGICAL LOYALTY that once you surrender and accept Christ as saviour, you should'nt leave that path. Neither we nor our Gurus are funded by the US Government or Indian Government or the European Union for dirty purposes like evangelizing or proselytization. . US Government alone funds $44million dollars to the Missionaries. Please know the truth and then speak!! You hate Jews because they dont accept Christ. Well, my Friend, that is the thought of a Christian. Peak of intolerance. Only your path leads to salvation, well what proof do you have for it. Christ performed miracles, dont talk of miracles to us. There are infinite Godmen here who have performed miracles greater than those performed by Christ. You talk of someone Divine who lived 2000 years ago, come on, I will show you someone who was Divine and lived 100 years ago!You have said that you are here to protect Christianity. So you can protect your religion, why should'nt we protect our religion?You speak of peace to us? Well, there are 14 Christian nations, 26 Muslim nations, 6 Buddhist nations and one Jewish state of Israel . But is there atleast one Hindu country? That is our compassion man!You hate, hate, hate and everything in you is hatred. Whom

atleast do you people love? What tolerance you show to other faiths?? It was around 700 AD. Buddhism and Jainism were throttling Hinduism, and it was about to vanish from the Indian soil. It was at this time, great seers emerged and you know what happened? Buddhism and Jainism were defeated by the Vedic and Vedantic scholars and eventually those two Dharmic religions faded out.Unfortunately, there are no seers now, however, debates wont convince you people. Buddhists and Jains accepted defeat, they were peace loving religions and were even more peaceful than Hindus. But some people will be convinced by words, some only by action. Hinduism spread through by Spirituality and Debates, and not not by the bloody Crusades and Jihads, my friend. What do you know about our culture? Hinduism has not destroyed even one culture, but how many have been destroyed by you people?

Can you count? WHAT HAPPINESS DO YOU GET BY CONVERTING OTHERS TO YOUR FAITH?? Why can't you tolerate other religions?? We do not ask for any domination, nor for an equality, but a peaceful co-existence. Is that too much to ask for?? Hinduism has been subject to all ruthlessness and brutalities for more than 1200 years. My dear, if all that had happened to your religion, Christianity would have been wiped out from the face of this earth. But see, our faith still stands and will stands!

You know why all the violence against Christians took place in India ? They call themselves "Minorities" , but do they behave like minorities? There are also Buddhists, Jains, Parsees (Zoroastrians) , Jews and other faiths too. Are people of these faiths encountered against? But see how many problems are created by these so-called Minorities (Christians and Muslims)! You people say Hinduism is spreading in US and UK , and so Christianity and Islam need to spread in India . My question is, were Christianity and Islam born in Europe or America ? You preach your religion in India , the land were Hinduism was born. But does ISKCON et al. preach Hinduism in Israel and Arab? What would happen if it does so?Instead of merely shouting, try to understand the situation in India and
