Guest guest
dear grp . This is how ancients discovered one by one how planets affect us . They utilised it for well being of ppl ,what ever they cud emulate .that is why the propounders of all such kind of theorys known as muni 's and rishies in ancient india . when we see results we simply use it ,those who wants wat logic or science let them understand it or let them try to unravel it . even fire or wheel or what ever humns invented was accidental .May b megaplan of gods . it like all inventions it is happening as designed by god ,even most of the scientific inventions were happned accidently .Nothing was preplanned but they were ready to receiv it . so b ready to recv good things . regrds sreedhar proof of moon affecting mankind ---------- Existence is interconnected so deeply, so intimately.. . but thedistances are vast. On the full moon night you see the ocean -- it isaffected by the full moon, hand in hand, but the moon is far away. Andit is not only the ocean that is affected; even you are affected, because eighty percent in you is ocean water. It is not strange that the people who have become enlightened -- onlywith one exception, Mahavira -- have all become enlightened on thefull moon day. Mahavira became enlightened on the night of amawas --no moon in the night, total darkness. It is because of this fact he iscalled Mahavira. That is not his name. Mahavira means the greatwarrior, going against the current -- and not only going against thecurrent but achieving it.Gautam Buddha became enlightened on the day of the full moon. GautamBuddha's whole life is connected with the full moon: he was born on afull moon night, he became enlightened on the full moon night, he diedon the full moon night. This cannot be just coincidence. And now psychologists have been studying the effects of the full moonon the human psyche, and the results are staggering. On the full moonnight more people go mad than any other night, the number is almostdouble. More people commit suicide -- again, the number is almostdouble. More people commit murder, and again the number is almostdouble. The full moon night does something to the human psyche. Thefull moon is so far away -- but not so far away; it affects you. Sincethe very beginning it has been affecting the poets, the painters, thesculptors, the musicians, the dancers. They all feel that something isdifferent under the full moon, that perhaps the rays of the full moonare hand in hand....But if a scientist take ocean water and keep in a big vessel and watch it on full moon day ,however he is sitting close to sea ,u can see nothing is happening in the water in vessel . so how u explain it ?? can any one illuminate me .if so how its affects ppl then ??? hope the scientific community in grp will explain it . so that i can also think logicaly and scientificaly or i can reject it outrightly . as it does not fit into my awareness . Guest guest
Here I want to put a small comment. There is nothing absolute in Science. Science is some assumptions which can explain some happenings in finite space time. Newtonian Physics fails in larger objects where Theory of relativity fits properly. Einstin’s theory also does’t fit in microscopic world where quantum mechanics is the king. Quantum mechanics also found inadequate to answer many things and that’s why there is “String Theory”. “String theory “ is simply a model only as it is not possible to see a string ever and the theory assumes 11 dimensions of the universe. If scientists can call a “string “science”, what is wrong with Rahu & Ketu ????????? On Behalf Of sreedhar.nambiar Friday, December 12, 2008 11:34 AM To: Full Moon Night dear grp . Guest guest
Shri Sreedhar Nambiarji, Namaskar! <even most of the scientific inventions were happned accidently > Do you mean to say that astrology also is accidental and not divine? <It is not strange that the people who have become enlightened -- only with one exception, Mahavira -- have all become enlightened on the full moon day. Mahavira became enlightened on the night of amawas -- no moon in the night, total darkness. It is because of this fact he is called Mahavira. That is not his name. Gautam Buddha's whole life is connected with the full moon: he was born on a full moon night, he became enlightened on the full moon night, he died on the full moon night. This cannot be just coincidence.> That is the problem with " Vedic astrologers " . They fly off at a tangent! Do you mean to say all other tithis are meaninglesss and useless? Bhagwan Krishna was born on Krishna Ashtami! Bhagwan Ram was born on Shukla Navmi! Vamana was born on a Dwadashi! Nrisimha on Chaturdashi! Were all those fake Avatars like our imported " Vamadevas " ? <They utilised it for well being of ppl > Predictive gimmicks have never been used for anybody's betterment, least of all Hindu community, who are being compelled to celebrate all the festivals and muhurtas on wrong days, thanks to " Vedic astrology " ! Most of the top-notch " Vedic astrologers " fell on bad days at the fag end of their " greatest achievements " . BVR is the latest example! Nobody is now using his ayanamsha! His entire empire has gone up in smithereens. His entire family fell on bad days! Is that the good they have done to themselves, leave alone others? There are several ohter instances! No astrologer has as yet ever been able to predict any Tsunami or famine or any terror attack etc. before hand! All hogwash! As such, pl. stop using such cliques and making a fool of a common man.
