You have said, " This calendar will be based upon siddhantic calendar updated and improved upon by Arya Bhatta some 2000 years ago. An actual Vedic calendar needs to be updated every 72 years in view of the precession of the earth. " . Would you be kind enough to quote the exact words of Aryabhata where he has referred to anything like precession even obliquely! In fact, your such a defintion of Vedic calendar is self-contradictory! The real Vedic months are Madhu, Madhava etc. seasonal months---and not Lahiri or Ramana etc. Mesha, Vrisha etc. rashis! Madhu, Madhava etc. are not subject to precession whereas Lahiri/Raman/Kharegat/Fagan etc. etc. rashis are only imaginary divisions created by jyotishis, whether Eastern or Western and they are unrelated either to the Vedas or even to modern astronomy! As such, it all depends on the whims and fancies of jyotishis whether to subject such imaginary divisions to precession or not! Further the yuga theory as propounded by Aryabhata is much different from the one propounded by your so called " Vedic calendar/Almanac " on the shoulders of same Aryabhata! Why so?
