Guest guest
Resp Mark Ji, First of all I will like to welcome you in our forum and hope you will enjoy interaction with the members. Thanks for your reply. (I am also including your msg alongwith my reply so that members may pickup the link) I am studying astrology since last +35 years and also studied many horoscopes. Thus either I may be right or wrong it is actually a psychological affect by which we try to see any event as is being supported by astrology. Thus if I say that you have achieved a lot then you will immediately (if you have faith on astrology) scan your achievement and think that astrology is correct. If I say that you may achieve much more but your skill was not recognized then again you will scan your failures thus every predictive or postmortem prediction appears to be correct. If you or your client may come out from psychological setup then it is essential that same principle must provide same result. Thus can you provide a single predictive principle which may be right. And how a principle can be right which was based on myth that Earth is stationary, Sun is nearer then Moon and so on. As astrologer (including you) are not aware as to how all sort of predictive principles were formulated then what can be done. Because every astrologer has been programmed to claim that astrology is science or astrology is vedic. They use these two sentences just to exploit their clients. I am asking since last 5 years (after publishing my book) as to how principles were formulated. But except reader of my book not a single astrologer is able to answer. And until unless you know as to how these principals were formulated till then there is no question that any astrologer may come out from the myth. In this situation you have either to provide answer on various questions or you may ask your friends, astrologer, forum or may read scripture or in last may read my book for answer. So far affect of Moon on you is concerned, I will say that it is not more than a phobia and psychological affect as some times some incident may randomly match with the position of the Moon. Then it dos't mean that Moon has selected your head for the affect. Because Moon is only a matter which has only gravity and magnetism. Both these affect are nil so far Earth is concerned. And full moon has nothing to do with any affect as it is only light of the Sun, which is not increasing the affect to the Moon except light. Moon may be near to the Earth on any other day hence its nearness is also irrelevant. As there is no change in the matter of the Moon either it is full or less moon. So please answer the questions instead of sweeping remarks. I request you to read SOA_____files in the file section, so that you may be aware with the answers of members on many points. Remember nothing is personal and it is only academic discussion. Thanks Yours truly, Sanat (Letter dated 9-9-8 of Mr. Mark) Dear Jain: It doesn't sound like you've ever really experienced your own chart? I think there is always a danger in only having one's chart read by others. It's meant to be experienced for oneself. When I came to know my own chart, it became obvious that astrology was very real and even scientific. We say scientific to mean that it is real and verifiable. When I came to understand myself through all the rules and principles of Jyotish, I found it was very real and true to my life. Now, 22 years later and having done the charts of over 7000 other people too I can say that all these people's charts fit them as well. When I do people's charts I try and help them to experience there own chart for themselves. Any knowledge or philosophy or system of understanding that can repeatably explain why people are the way they are is therefore extremely real. There are of course many problems also in the field of astrology. Many people don't do it very well. Also, predictions are relied upon too much in my analysis and I've heard of predictions that so-called world class Jyotishees have made that didn't turn out to be true. But, in my own experience I've learned that the vimostari dasa system and the transits principle both do predict extremely precisely many many things for me. For example, for years, every New Moon I'd find myself feeling complicated and slightly upset emotionally. This happened every month, whether I remembered to look at the Jyotish transits or not. This showed me very scientifically, that this idea about the transits was very real for me. As a result I learned to treat New Moon's differently. I stopped planning important events around these times and as a result felt better and better. Many, many, many other instances of the transits being true to life for me has easily convinced me of it's truth. When you look at your birth chart, does it not feel like you? Has no one ever helped you discover how your chart fits you? If you'd like some help knowing your chart better, feel free to send me your date of birth information and maybe I can help. take care Sincerely, Mark Kincaid
